  1. YAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love proper ticker movement!
  2. But don'tcha know, Plain? That's what these kinds of people do.
  3. Maybe from now on, when she calls and you realize it's her, just say, "NO!"
  4. Yeah, no. Not really. Nah, I think it's about what women find fascinating and realizing the hard work that's involved. Don't you know yet that women don't do stuff for men? They do things (makeup, clothes, exercise/good bodies) for other women. Duh!
  5. That's a great explanation, but I guess I still don't see a difference between that and a bisexual.
  6. While I'm very proud of Ron for FINALLY finishing something in his life, it also aggravates me that much more about his whiny ass and all those times he quit almost immediately after starting. In the half-marathon, he went (somebody said) about 3 miles. Well, he PROVED last night that he COULD do it, twice over. Same with every other challenge he's quit. Last night proved that he COULD do it, he just consistently chose not to. Like he chose not to let the gastric bypass work for him.
  7. If the Dallas area is "Africa hot" in August, then Houston is "OMG, even the devil is sweating" hot in September. :cool2: I used to say that once you suffered through August in Houston, you STILL had to make it through September, which was always worse. I would say if you could make it to mid-October without dying first, you were in the clear.
  8. I remember you saying you were a fellow Detroiter, Ebony. I think we talked about it a tad. I used to live off 8 Mile when I was a kid (think Eminem, lol), and when we moved to Texas, I lived in Sterling Heights (16 Mile). What's so funny is I became really good friends with my realtor in Texas, and come to find out, she lived just a mile or two away from where I was in Sterling Heights about the time I lived there! What a small world, eh? We may have literally bumped into each other at some point.
  9. Okay, fair enough. However, that story itself is part of the Torah, which has been the Jewish "Bible" almost since the beginning of time. Not quite the same as what you're saying, but okay.
  10. OH, and WHY WHY WHY do they ALWAYS have to show these people puking??? Did we REALLY need to see Max tossing his water? :cool2:
  11. Do they butt seasons up right against each other? Or do they do them starting in January? Because if it's the former and not the latter, they may not be able to use Max yet unless he's turned 18 in the interim.
  12. My daughter (lovingly and sometimes not quite so) calls me a walking dictionary. :cool2: Take care, Tina, and see you after the doc.
  13. You're so funny, Manatee! And I'm not even CLOSE to gay, but if I was, I would go after Jillian too. And Angelina. And Ellen Degeneres. And NO, I do not sit around thinking about this. Often. :cool2:
  14. No, I think she read it -- and still recommended staying with a cad. I will never understand anybody who recommends that. It's not like, "Oopsie, spilled milk," it's a CHOICE to cheat, and cheat, and cheat some more, for a long time in Tina's ex's case. To me, anybody who would recommend that is a settler and is willing to be treated like crap because they themselves feel they are crap and can't do better. And this is not a dig aginst Ms. Thang, I mean this of anybody who espouses those beliefs.
  15. Hm, on her MySpace page she says she's straight.
  16. Omg, Ron FINALLY finished a challenge!!!
  17. Certainly it appears that many of the decisions government makes is geared towards putting as many people as possible on the gubment dole.
  18. EXCELLENT, Plain.
  19. Everything's good now. Susan put on her superwoman cape and took care of... it.
  20. Well, you could take one bite like that, but of course that bite would be your whole meal.
  21. I used to think I hated the cold until I moved here. I guess it's temperate enough for me. I lived in Michigan for my first 13 years, and that was WAY too cold. Then moved to Texas, and that was WAY too hot. Now it's just right. I feel like Goldilocks! lol However, I notice I get cold more quickly now. I'm sure it's the weight loss, so let's see how next winter is for me. I may be coming for a visit!
  22. Oh no... Gawd, why can't the a/c ever go out in the WINTER when you don't need it?
  23. You say you believe in God, but do you believe in the Bible? I know some here don't, but if you do, let me throw a kink into the works here: Why did God destroy Soddom and Gomorrah?
  24. Actually Susan did. Don't know what she said, but thanks Susan. Miss Thang decided then to go onto my message board and go at me there. Chick needs some meds. Bad.
