  1. SURE you can! However, you MUST take note to eat these things in the proper order. Ice cream FIRST, since it melts and essentially becomes liquid. Then Cookies next because, let's face it, they're EXCELLENT sliders. THEN the chicken. Follow those rules and you're good to go.
  2. No. No, you can't. We're full up.
  3. Crap, I'M seriously screwed...
  4. What the hell is all this talk about head hunger? I don't WANT any heads! Eyes and cheeks and tongues -- NO HEADS! By the way, if my band is too tight, can I get constipated? I'm not pooing very well. And when I do, it's got this strange "ring" shape to it...
  5. I'd say if your insurance won't pay for it, either wear a REALLY tight choker necklace or simply wear a necktie set on strangle.
  6. I've been tracking, and I'm thinking I'm not eating enough. Many days in this past month, I didn't go over 800-900 calories. I dunno... eventually, I guess.
  7. KC, I WARNED you about talking about me out of turn like that. Don't make me get all ghetto on yo azz...
  8. I would, but I could potentially implicate myself in no less than five crimes.
  9. Okay, but what if you were a beotch before getting the band?
  10. Yeah, but "those people" aren't allowed here in the cool people thread, those of us who know better.. Unless, of course, Plain got drunk and loose-lipped with the secred knock and handshake again...
  11. I don't. It's more a joke that ColoradoChick and I have made up to pertain to supermodels and their eating.
  12. Yeah, I'm wondering if that was my issue this last month. Promised myself (and was about 97 percent good about it) that I would honestly track my calories in/calories out and write down what I'm eating. It was that "sneaking" stuff and not being accountable to myself a couple months back that was hurting me. So this month the stress I experienced was at a level where I WASN'T hungry until maybe 4pm or so. I also noticed that on many days my calories in never even got as high as 1000 (800's or so) but calories expended were over 2300, so there was a huge daily deficit. And... the scale just bobbled back and forth.
  13. The exact reason I have chosen to see a counselor who deals with eating disorders. I KNOW the entirety of my battle is above the neck. Since the band doesn't reach that high, I must take measures to tackle that demon.
  14. He actually said that if he was to stick a needle in me, he'd probably take out just a teeny bit. And here I kept thinking I was still eating a bit too much since I never got to that "half a cracker and a shmear" stage... I really don't eat much (compared to before), but sometimes it's hard to know how much is enough. So for now, it's just a matter of scaling back a bit and seeing if it still keeps me as satiated as I am now. In other words, can I stay satieted for 4-6 hours with a titch less food...? Cuz I swear the scale has not moved in a downward trend for three frikken months.
  15. Actually, it wasn't. And I'm sure you can find thousands more threads here that won't offend your sensibilities. Happy hunting!
  16. HH, I swear you must have a butthead target on ya!
  17. Been away since Friday night (I think it was, or I guess you could say earrrrrly Saturday morning, eh?). Haven't caught up on all, but I did see Tap's post. Big {{{{{HUGS}}}}} to you, hon. I wish I could do more. Ebony -- give 'em hell, in a measured way, of course. No more tears, k? Heading to the folks' on Saturday. I have a concert Friday night or else I might have chosen to leave sooner. Was also hanging around because went for a fill/fluro today, but I guess I'm at a sweet spot for now. No fill.
  18. Like PnkPottymouth? NOBODY was that good, not even KC. That beotch said stuff even I had never heard of. Like cooking.
  19. Okay, who's doin' what without me? And three hours after? Sorry, you're screwed. You hafta keep that thing. You bought it, it's yours. Eat a double-double cheeseburger. You'll feel better.
  20. Interesting how on a Lap-Band site, this poster's FIRST post ever is on THIS thread. I say if you like socialized medicine so well, you're free to move back to Europe.
  21. Well, whether you're vomiting protein shakes or double-double cheeseburgers, the result is the same. So... which would you rather have? Cuz I promise, you will vomit either way. What they don't tell you is that is how you lose the weight. The band works like a mini trampoline which bounces everything back up. So enjoy the burger. Before it comes back up, of course...
  22. That and those butt tongs. I drew the line at the tongs. And no, I don't mean tHongs.
  23. C'mon, SLIM? That's SO a name of the type of person you find on that show.
  24. Yeah, uh-huh... Ever watch Intervention? They ALL say that.
