  1. Hehe, I thought that was what I was telling her! I refuse to argue religion with anybody who is such a staunch non-believer. I learned that a long time ago.
  2. How "Christian" of you. I knew you were a blowhard fake.
  3. Ooooh yeahhhhh!! :w00t:
  4. How precious. Bless your heart. We "included" them after slaughtering them into submission.
  5. Yes it was, and yes it was. This has turned into the PattyGreen Hour of Power thread. You have almost totally monopolized it with your preaching and crap, and it's getting old. Why can't you simply stick to a topic OR better yet, move your proselytizing to the Christian thread??
  6. I don't even remember that! But probably how that came around is that your friends' daughter is named Brittany and I said I have been called that a TON by people, including a coworker who called me that for nearly a year and a half.
  7. Oooh, I likey! I drank a few glasses for you, as did CC. So you should have been positively shploopy last night.
  8. I know it sounds crazy, but maybe you're not eating enough. I don't think you are still in the healing phase right now, so you should be eating somewhat normally. If you are barely eating or NOT eating, you shut down your metabolism, which then makes the body horde your calories. Try upping the amount of food you eat and see if the scale doesn't move. Still eat healthy, obviously, but eat three meals a day, somewhat normal-sized meals.
  9. I'll admit I never even read it. I just saw how long it was and chose not to bore myself.
  10. Omg, I was drinking right along with you! The fact that we held our booze and didn't break things, dance on tables, or get nekkid says we did well. I can hardly wait to do it again! My house, Greek theme, more wine, right?
  11. Heh, yeah, but you proved me right.
  12. Neither are your sermons, which I see you followed this statement up with...
  13. As if that matters. No doubt you'll pick up where you left off.
  14. Ditto, Green. That shit scares me.
  15. Oooh, another good reason to have them frequently!
  16. I would say it's a lack of God, but I doubt she'd appreciate that little diddy. :sneaky:
  17. I love a good debate too, but that is not what's going on over there. Debate is verbal sparring. In this case, it's turning into one person punching the other with their words. It's not debate.
  18. I fully understand. I will not be baited into that conversation with that person either. I've learned the hard way that it never gets anywhere. If one was truly questioning to learn or find out what others believe, that is one thing. However, that is not the way this diatribe is going. These are questions simply elicited in order to bash the response or the responder, and I simply won't walk into that. Smarter people than her have tried it and failed, and it just turns into a pissing match.
  19. LOL, hopefully not at me. I think it's time I bow out too. Being diplomatic isn't getting me anywhere.
  20. I don't bellieve you would like to understand. Your questions aren't so much questions as they are inquisitions. There's a huge difference between somebody who truly wants to understand and somebody else who wants us to answer questions just so that they can bash the responses. You have your mind set. You don't believe. That is your prerogative and your choice. It means nothing to anybody else and really doesn't matter.
  21. Seriously, wasa, you are the only one here who is making it an issue. Your game is tired and old and has been played much better by people who are more adept at it than you. Forced? Okay, maybe a bad choice of words. But if I politely choose not to take the bait, you try to bait me further by saying I am running from the tough questions -- which you have said over and over ad nauseaum all day. I guess when one battles others as much as you appear to, you can't fathom that not everybody takes this path. This is a thread about prostitution. If I wanted to be sermonized to -- by either PattyGreen or yourself (and don't for a minute think that you are not sermonizing because you are, even if it is anti-God) -- I would be on the proper boards for that. I'm not rising to your bait -- not because I don't have the answers, but because people such as yourself will only further distort what is being said and turn it into more argument. I choose not to debate religion with anybody. Been there, done that, to no good purpose. What do you want, to be convinced of something? Or are you just bored today?
  22. It's not a matter of what value there is in prayer before a football game. It's more about what harm is there in having prayer before a football game if the majority of the people want it? One sucky person can ruin it for everybody else, and I don't recall that America was founded on those principles. It's the mere fact that people can't live and let live. I have to tolerate all sorts of things in my everyday life that I wouldn't necessarily choose to if I was queen, but the same fairness or fair play can't be given by the other side. It just baffles me. Also, I know your perception is that when the questions get tough, Christians go running. But maybe many believe as I do. It's just not a worthwhile fight. As for listening to sermons, I'm guessing you mean PattyGreen. The only thing I can suggest is to unsubscribe from the thread.
  23. Omg, too funny! :w00t:
  24. I would think a closed gate would have been enough. :w00t:
