That's very sad, LD. :lunch:

She's buying designer makeup??? Are you SERIOUS!? What a POS ho. The ONLY thing I would be satisfied with is if those children were adopted out to people who would love and care for them and be responsible parents. This alleycat will never be responsible. She abuses EVERYbody who helps her -- her mother, the system... She is a waste of oxygen, pure and simple.

EXCELLENT, babygrl!! That is the point. Those who TRULY need can't get it, but the more selfish and narcissistic you are, the more you get. :lunch:

Hehe, love it! :lunch:

Apparently in this country you have to be a blithering idiot, a complete narcissist, or wholly irresponsible and then people come to your rescue via bailouts and other help, thereby assuring that people don't learn a damn thing,

Yeah, I thought the same thing. I'm waiting for my skin to start peeling away from the bone and for my eyeballs to catch fire.

Your average American knows how we fix it: KEEP GOVERNMENT OUT OF IT. Government has never touched ANYTHING and made it better. Never. And the problem now is that government, by lending all this money, becomes part owner in companies and can start dictating policy they have no business getting involved in. However, the libs are in control and are thumbing their collective noses at everybody while they spend more money in a month than GWB did his entire 8 years (that had everybody up in arms, but not a peep now) and giving their buddies perks and earmarks. While we all batten down the hatches and do with less -- and in many cases do without jobs -- these guys are still partying like it's 1999. They are drunk with power and money, and they no longer listen to the American people.

Yes, but I think you forget what brought us out of the Great Depression: WAR. However we now live in a country where many tree huggers would rather save the spotted horned owl than save people, even when war is brought to us. So I guess the only other thing to do is spend money we don't have on things we don't need and leave the bill for kids we don't have yet.

Only when the teleprompter is working. :w00t: Almost?? He is so arrogant I heard Donald Trump wants lessons.

Don't forget that this is a journey, not a race. We will all have bad periods during the journey, but you WILL eventually hit your sweet spot. My first two fills did very little for me. The third was better in that I wasn't hungry between meals, but I was still eating more than I thought I should be able to. When I went in, I had only lost 2 pounds from the month before since I had been up and down all month. I know we have this mindset that because we constantly failed at diets, that this too will be another failure. It won't. Just give it time and you will eventually feel in control of it all. And 81 pounds?? That is freakin' fantastic!! Don't lose sight of that. -
So... raising capable, able young adults is doing it wrong. Interesting that you are the only one who seems to think so.
-
Aren't you precious. Bless your heart. :crying: I raised a young woman who was able -- ABLE -- to be on her own and take care of herself. I raised her to be independent of me, not live with me well past her time. But hey, I guess I did it all wrong, eh? :scared2:

Nah, that's me. Just ask her. :scared2: -
I'm just saying maybe in these big families the kids are missing something and tend to stay home longer. I was 18 when I moved out. My sister was 17 (a few months from her 18th birthday, and stayed in Houston when my parents moved to Michigan). My brother was a bit older, about 19, but then he was always treated as the baby he is. I DON'T know anything about your family except what you've told me... and what I know is that three of your ADULT children still live at home. I just happen to think there's a correlation -- or enabling -- when that happens in these situations. I think that kids raised in huge families like that are missing out on things. Like growing up, perhaps. :scared2: By the way, please don't whine. It's very unbecoming.

Geez... MY daughter moved out at 18, and that was only 3 years ago. :crying:

Not knockin' ya at all, but you're still in that early stage. It SHOULD be all warm and fuzzy. Not everybody is in that place after many years together, and it's nice when we are. :scared2: -
Those of us banded so close to the new year have resolutions to use as our reason. :scared2:

Oh my GOD, you're not really all that far from me, only about 50 miles! Not that I can come to the toy party (or can I...? Hmmm...), but wow, we should really hook up sometime!
