Okay, but let's be real here for a second. You're going out on DATES, even if in your mind you're telling yourself that you're not. Have you told BF where you're going and with whom? If not, then they are DATES. My husband knows anybody and everybody I hang with. I had a best friend that was a guy, and while my husband was in Kuwait for a year, this friend would stay over sometimes because he knew what a rough time I was going through, raising a teenager by myself while my husband was in a war zone. Everybody knew that this guy was JUST a friend -- closer to me than a brother. He never once was concerned, and he knew everything that was going on. If somebody goes out with somebody of another sex and wouldn't tell their partner about it, then that says that there is potentially more going on here. You went out flying with one guy, to the beach with another... I think you are putting vibes out there and you are getting responses then wondering what the heck is going on. For a guy to give you a ring -- well, that tells me he got some HUMONGOUS vibes, even if YOU don't realize you put them out there. Look, there's nothing wrong with dating or even playing the field, if that's where you're at right now. But the fact that you are still "committed" to this other guy who, I'm sorry, is a LOSER. Dump HIM and then do whatever. But you can't have it both ways without it causing some major grief.

Yeah, what Glouc said. I think you're just asking for trouble so long as you are still living with/seeing the other guy. And I married a guy from work.

That may be how you looked at it, but apparently he didn't since he's giving you a ring. Guys don't do that without expecting something in return, whether it be a relationship or a booty call. In my opinion, if you keep it he will think there is something more that he can expect from you.

I guess therein lies the rub. The time was only applicable towards the top two because anybody beyond them wouldn't time well enough to matter. So if they ate a cookie to take away five minutes from somebody who didn't place in the top two, it only hurt the cookie eater. Interesting challenge!

Okay, what the hell WAS that?? Had chicken breast tonight for dinner and made sure to douse it in the sauce I made it in. Started to feel a little bit stuck but thought it would pass. Um, no. Walked around, felt yucky, started getting watermouth and headed for the bathroom. And... I guess I threw up, but it wasn't food. Not really. Just liquid with some little food "remnants" or something. What the hell WAS that??

It's a cheaper BodyBugg. I have it charging on my computer as we speak. I downloaded all the stuff from the site, and I plugged in my desired goals, and it says with what I want to do, I should be at goal by March 10, 2010. 'Course it doesn't account for the band, but still... it makes it more concrete.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! I set a slightly higher weight as my goal, but I imagine I could get to my 130s and not look too thin. I was 120 in high school, and it was thin enough on my body type that when I lost to 117 one summer, my mom noticed.

Patty: Yes, I am outraged about how things are going now. You got that part right. Where we absolutely part ways pertains to her "plans." She should have planned to already be OUT of school and planned on having a job before choosing to saddle herself and her parents and, worse, the taxpayers with her "plan." Nobody has the right to do it bass-ackwards like she did and saddle others with her problem. I don't care WHAT her "plan" was, it was stupid and self-centered. I planned on being a supermodel too, but that didn't pan out. :lunch:

She shouldn't have planned to have ANY of those children since she was not working and was receiving benefits. This wasn't an "oopsie," this was planned. All except the "how the hell am I going to support them" part. The fact that her kids act out so badly shows that there is no guidance whatsoever. These children aren't about her loving them, it's about her creating them because SHE needs love so badly. Another narcissistic trait, to be sure. Those looking to have a void filled aren't thinking about reciprocating anything, they are ONLY looking to have their needs met. Having 7 or 14 children in this manner doesn't say how much love she has to give, it says that SHE needs something from THEM. The very fact that even her mother talked about how she had this unnatural need to have children even when she was younger speaks volumes about her instability and overwhelming need to be loved by somebody else -- even though I believe her parents loved and spoiled her into the rotten person she is today. They even said so in one of their interviews. I know some don't want to look at the entirity of all of this; and if they wish to live in a bubble, that is their problem. However, the rest of us seem to have a grip on reality and what all of this really means, and frankly, that is all that matters.
