No, really, I have talked to people all over the spectrum, and it appears by my cross-section that it is a far cry from just us wacky right-wingers. This problem affects all of us. I just think there has got to be a better answer. It's the best I can do in showing my feelings on the matter. And I reiterate, this is not an anti-Obama thing for me, as I hope it is not for anybody else.

I honestly don't know what the brownish Fluid is. I had my gall bladder removed and had gotten to the point where all I could toss up was bile, and it wasn't brown. I worry that it MIGHT be blood or something. And sorry, for some reason I thought you were an hour away. I would bet he could recommend somebody closer if you can't get out there. But definitely, I wouldn't wait until Thursday. Frankly, I probably wouldn't wait through the night since this has been going on since before Saturday. You could find yourself in dire straits pretty quickly with lack of fluids. For the time being, I would recommend something like Pedialyte or something like that which gets your electrolytes up.

Yeah, I read this on the DHS, but not from Michelle. That's all they can do, make it sound as if it is "right-wingers" who are against all this bail-out crap. This is about ALL of us. I for one adhere to the premise to not make any banners or signs personal against the president or anybody in particular as this is an issue which is far greater. I also believe it lends more credence to the movement to focus on the issue, not a person. But yeah, the DHS thing... alarming. No doubt the day will come when those dubbed right-wingers will end up being thrown under the umbrella of hate-speech/hate-propogandists, etc. Just wait and see.

Blue, have you spoken to your surgeon at all? I would be curious to see what s/he says about you not even being able to handle liquids properly. Can you call them today or tomorrow? You have no idea the damage that could occur by getting a bad bit of information from your general practician. I just worry that that doctor didn't take it very seriously and probably doesn't fully understand everything involved here. I don't want to be a nag or mom-like, but please call your surgeon, just for peace of mind -- even if it's just mine! lol

I'm more worried that she can't keep even small amounts of liquids down. That will put her in a hospital FAST. I can't believe the doctor acted so blase about that.

And the law was used properly -- a single person did not make the decision to go to war. Regret or no, they still voted for it, and their vote is what put it into action.

I know they pay a helluva lot more than WE do. How can you complain about certain tax breaks for people when 32 percent of others pay no taxes whatsoever? Let's get them paying something first and see what happens. It's likely we wouldn't have to require more of the "rich" if one-third of this country would pay to be here like the rest of us do.

BJean, the ONLY folks getting a free ride are the 32 percent who pay ZERO taxes, yet somehow get a "tax break" or "tax return." If ALL people paid their fair share, I would be just fine. FLAT TAX is the way to go. Everybody pays a set percentage, not a floating percentage based on income, essentially rewarding some and punishing others. ALL pay.

What does that have to do with the fact that they voted for it? They gave him the power to do what he did. Regret doesn't unring the bell, they GAVE him the power.
