Okay, I admit it: I guess I need to read up more about the swine flu to see what the heck all the panic is about. On average, 32,000 people a year die of the regular flu, and so far we are talking less than what, 50 people? What is so different about this strain?

I was saying that to DH this week. I was STUNNED how well they all did, and I said this was the one week I bet Tara was glad she took the extra pound instead of the money, even though she would have just squeaked over the line without it. To be this far in and do THAT well was phenomenal. Okay, so it wasn't just my imagination? What did they do, tie their aprons down? I saw flaps of what looked like some sort of fabric tie on at least two of them under their pants lines. Hehehe, I noticed. :biggrin: I was thinking that very same thing. She looked better in her skinny jeans and cut jacket than Tara did in that dress. Omg, I saw that! It's been a bit since I've seen him, but has he gained weight?? I don't think those boys have a chance in hell once this is all over of keeping it all off. It's bad enough when a family is fat or eats badly and you return to that, but your whole community which reveres fatness?? I just think they're doomed for the long haul.

She really DOES look good, and she is a beautiful woman. I too usually don't like ripped women, but she is just ripped enough for it to work for her. If I was gay, I'd be hot for her. :biggrin:

Patty, PLEASE don't proselytize to people. What they do is not for you to judge by wielding God against them. Not everybody believes in God, and even if they do, not everybody believes in the same rules. This thread should not be another chance for you to judge others in this manner. :drool:

I always tell myself to keep doing the right things and the right results will happen. :drool: I know I hit a plateau the entire month between my last two fills, and I too was doing everything about 95 percent right. My nutritionist/nurse said that when you hit a plateau, shake things up a bit and go on liquids for a day or two and then back to food. However, you're still pretty early in, so a lot of what you're going through is still the recovery part.

Now "SEAment" is a Texan thang. As is AMbuLANCE. And PEcan. :drool:

Yes, and I do understand that totally. I'm not a hard-ass on the matter, and it's certainly not something I would be active in defeating like lobbying or anything like that, because I DO feel compassion for those who struggle with these issues (legal and otherwise). We have a great couple of guys that live right in front of us who look after the elderly people on our little street, watched our dogs when we went to Hawaii, and are overall great guys. I enjoy talking to them, enjoy their company, and we have keys to each other's homes. They don't make their homosexuality an issue, and it never comes up (which I prefer to those who are homo-nazis like Rosie O'Donnell and, now, Perez Hilton). I can only hope for these great guys that they have something legal in place to help them should they find themselves in a situation which warrants it.

It will get better, Sandi. Welcome to Bandster Hell. I found that when I was hungry, I would heat up some chicken broth (I found a low-sodium at Safeway [their brand] that is really good) and drink it out of a mug. It seemed to calm my stomach down some. It's very low cal, so you can probably have as much as you think you need, on top of the soft foods. At least it worked for me...
