No, I think she read it -- and still recommended staying with a cad. I will never understand anybody who recommends that. It's not like, "Oopsie, spilled milk," it's a CHOICE to cheat, and cheat, and cheat some more, for a long time in Tina's ex's case. :thumbup: To me, anybody who would recommend that is a settler and is willing to be treated like crap because they themselves feel they are crap and can't do better. I used to think I hated the cold until I moved here. I guess it's temperate enough for me. I lived in Michigan for my first 13 years, and that was WAY too cold. Then moved to Texas, and that was WAY too hot. Now it's just right. I feel like Goldilocks! lol However, I notice I get cold more quickly now. I'm sure it's the weight loss, so let's see how next winter is for me. I may be coming for a visit! :thumbup:

Some people are such troglodytes that they would be willing to have ANY man -- even a skank who runs around on them -- just to say they have a man. It sounds to me like somebody is jealous that you had a man and gave him up -- even though your reasons were sound -- because they can't get one. Maybe you ought to hook her up with your ex. Lordy, Tina!! :thumbdown: Did you tell the doc what happened?? And if so, what did she say about that happening? Do you think you were just woozy over the needle or something else? That's scary!

I guess the problem, as I've noticed it in reading so many posts here, is it's hard to know what is a realistic goal for each of us. Where some may lose over 100 pounds by their first year, others have "only" lost 30 or 50. We're all so different, and our bodies react so differently to the changes, that setting an attainable goal can be hard. There have been a couple times where I plateaued and had to kind of "kick start" myself again. When that happens, I notice if I go on liquids for a day or two, I lose about 4-5 pounds immediately, and then the weight starts moving again. Don't know if you're at a plateau, but if you are, it's worth a try.

Thank you, Amy. I have learned one thing by watching blowhards like this for many years: Not ONE PERSON comes to God by this sort of "preaching." NOT ONE. I have been on message boards in the past where people like this would go to town, condemning people and having this accusatory tone in their "message," and while they were turning people off to God, I was slipping in through the back door and showing them something good about God which in many cases changed their minds. The worst part of it was that I had to fight against these so-called "Christians" who were turning people OFF to God! And Patty is absolutely NO different. Sanctimonius twit!

Yes, we have. However, it just irritates me. GRRR... I've been staying offline as much as possible because it seems my computer has swine flu or some other nasty virus. Hubby is a bit stumped as to what to do, short of wiping the dang thing out and starting from scratch again. WHY can't people with computer know-how use it for GOOD instead of doing this crap??
