When I was working in the family courts, we had certain days we did child support cases, and frankly I needed a barf bag for all the freakin' excuses these guys had. THEY can't seem to keep it together, yet the mothers of these children always held down jobs and kept food in the kids' stomachs. I wanted to punch each and every one of those guys in the mouths. We had one guy we called the sperm doner because he had 12 kids with 10 different women. No joke. People like that ought to be sterilized.

They probably have tons of them, but in the disciplines I'm combining, it will be all campus, all the time.

As I've said previously, I have some neighbors who are two of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet. They watch over the older ladies on our side of the street, have watched our dogs when we went on vacation, and are just wonderful people. I would never in a million years refer to them as even gay, much less anything less kind. They are good people who have been together as long as my husband and I have. I've heard them teasingly refer to each other as "fag" and "homo," but it was in situations that were rather funny. I just see them as people, and I would do anything to help them out as neighbors and friends (other than vote for a cause I don't believe in). Perez Hilton put himself out there and verbally assaulted a woman for sticking to her God-given right to her beliefs. He besmirched her by calling her a bitch and a c*nt. He does not deserve the care and respect I feel for my neighbors.

You can't separate the conversation from the individual you disagree with and tend to eventually make it personal when you can no longer argue the facts of the conversation. Okay, then prove me wrong. Which state is it that rejected gay marriage, yet the judicial branch usurped the people's vote and instituted it anyway? One of the very few states which have it ONLY has it because of this detestable maneuver. Look if a state like CALIFORNIA couldn't even pass it, that says a lot. Yes, I rely on information I read and polls I've seen, and it has absolutely nothing to do with whether this is a "Christian nation" or not. The majority of people, if put to a vote, would vote against it. It's been struck down more than it's been accepted, and in very left-wing states, to boot. That tells me that mainstream America will not go for it.

I would do more online if I could, but Mason doesn't have them in my field(s) of interest. Trust me, I checked with my advisor on this. LOL However, I took as many online gen-eds as I could, so I'm done. I'm taking a 6-week mini-mester in conversational Spanish that ought to be "fun..." Two nights a week, over 3 hours each class. Ugh. But I will be done in 6 weeks, so there is a trade-off.
