Just following your lead. My original post was about Eric, not YOU, yet YOU decided to get personal with myself and whoever else did not bow at the Eric altar. Think about it. Then obviously you didn't sit in the seminar I did because I was looking at my watch. Unless, of course, my watch had the facts wrong. :bored: Obviously I can add the fact that you can't read to your obvious mental instability. I have said time and again that these were MY experiences, MY opinions, and that others likely disagree. Obvlously you don't see the irony in this paragraph, so I'll just leave it alone for everybody else to enjoy. Now... if you're so much more above the fray, walk away from this thread.

    Can I have unprotected sex?

Sorry, yes, a live chicken. You can find them in the aisles of your AeroMexico planes for sure. Other than that, I'm not sure.

    Can I have unprotected sex?

Wrong end. DOUCHE with it. Kinda tickles, but only for a minute. For those who only have Diet Coke instead of Pepsi, there may be a hitch in your giddyup, but don't despair. Check to see if you have a chicken and a weedeater. There's this whole nuther process.

Obviously you have mental issues, so I'll let you pass. I expressed my opinion of Eric. I also said I am sure he's a great doctor, that his patients seem to really like him, etc. However, spending over 15 minutes of MY precious time when I'm there to learn about the LapBand by watching the first four years of his kids' lives is NOT productive and NOT what I signed up for. And from what I can tell, he has been told by his staff -- first in Robert's office, then also again when he branched off -- to lay off on how MANY photos he shares (if he feels the need to do so) and focus on what we're THERE for: information on surgery. The fee? I had all the same stuff done in Robert's office and they didn't charge me. The bottom line is I had to go with the one/s I felt most comfortable with, and Eric was not the one. I'm sure he cares, but his air the night of the seminar was one who was too busy and too self-involved to care about people's questions or the time he was wasting. You can never give somebody a second first impression, and that was mine of him. You can't denounce my experience, though I'm sure you'll try. The one thing I HAVE noticed is many of his patients seem to be emotionally unstable and unhinged. They obviously can't handle anything that flies in the face of what they think. Oh well... Dr. Robert and his staff are the best I have ever dealt with, bar none. I stand by that a thousand percent.

    Can I have unprotected sex?

You're only safe if you have sex on the third Thursday of the month that the moon is in the house of Aquarius and it's after 8:00pm but not before 8:15pm. Make sure you do it in the Kama Sutra position number 18 and FOR SURE remember to douche with a bottle of cola, preferably Pepsi. Just remove the cap, place a finger over the opening, shake, and insert. The soda does the rest. You're on your own for the rest, sorry.

PJTP: Sorry for the repeat for those of you who FB, but I'm very proud of myself! Almost didn't do my exercise today but decided to keep closer to home and do a shorter but more intensive workout. We have a little park that is part of our neighborhood, and I took the dogs there to do a walk/run. I was trying to figure out how to copy the Couch to 5K podcasts to my MP3, but being the electronics nitwit that I am, it was a no-go. So I used my phone which has a Walkman (for the radio, use it for all my walks until I get the MP3 working) AND it has a stopwatch (among other things like pedometer) and did a series of walks and runs. The first two series of runs were an enitre lap around the park with a 2-minute walk in between. After that I could only do about half the park at a stretch, but even that was over 1 minute in duration (again, with 2-minute plus-or-minus in between). At some point I did another full run around the park, followed by a few more half-runs. I downloaded my GoWear Fit when I got home and out of 43 minutes of exercise, more than half (23 minutes) was vigorous! And I got in my 5,000 step minimum and then some. YAY!! Oh, here's the park so you get an idea. I labeled a house over to the left so you can guage the size of it:

Yeah, not a story to share over coffee... or lunch... or... ever. LOL I couldn't do your job, but I am into the slightly twisted part of life.

PJTP: So... got on the scale this morning, and good news: down to 229 (my lowest so far has been 228.5). However, I could also kick myself in my smaller behind because the last time I was this low was May 14, NINE WEEKS ago. >sigh< How irritating. Yet good. But irritating. :bored:

"Our Government is Officially Insane" (Surprise!!)

Yeah, I know, I saw that the other day and thought, WTF?? Only a pinhead democrat representative would say something so God-awful stupid. It's almost like it's a race now to see how fast they can ruin this country. :bored:

Not even 2 weeks out and...

Note: Gnawing your arm off too early after surgery can cause slippage. It is not recommended until safe to do so.
  17. Excellence and perfection as always, Restless.
  18. Sometimes it's the doctor not giving good advice for aftercaer, but more often it's the bandster themselves who make horrible choices which can really hurt them. Don't even get me started on the person who had a double-double burger just a few days after surgery! I just look at it this way myself: We have gotten to the point where surgery is the last straw. I mean, how many people use surgery as a first option? No, we typically consider surgery after years of dieting and exercise. So... we take this path, hoping upon hope that this will be the "trick," and then not to even follow the rules to help keep us from potentially losing our bands or causing our bodies harm...? WHY? I feel if anybody can't commit themselves fully for a few weeks of liquids and mushies, then maybe they're just not ready to do this.

    200 lb loss photos

Omg, I remember showing my mom your pics earlier in the year when you were 16 pounds shy of 200 pounds lost! WAY TO GO!!!
  20. Holy freakin' cow! Is that you?? Where can I find that pic? I'm not weird or anything, promise, but I love seeing the end result after hard work like you've done. :)

  21. Whether you're on vacation or not, the rules are in place for a reason. They don't tell you to do liquids because you can't eat food, they tell you to do liquids to keep your stomach from overchurning which can cause your band, which is not yet healed, to slip. I assure you, it only gets harder from here. I sincerely recommend you follow doctor's orders to a tee for your own good. This goes to the other poster who says it's okay because s/he did it too. Don't turn this into "if Susie jumped off a bridge, would you do it to" scenario. Two people doing the wrong thing does not make it less wrong.

Honestly, I really don't like running either. Right now, though, it's a great way for me to guage how well I'm doing. If I can run more/farther this week than I did last week, it's something I can see.

Ebony, glad to hear you had them stumbling! That's the way to do it, especially when they expect you to be emotional or combative. I'm SO PROUD of you!!! PJTP: Just got back from another walk/run and whoo-ee, I certainly did push myself! I walked my farthest walk so far (went with hubby the other day and extended my walk run -- keep adding to it every week), and on top of going further, I chose also to really push the running. Whenever I felt like I wanted to stop, I pushed myself further -- to the next three, the next fence line, whatever. I got home and downloaded my GoWear Fit and it shows I went just over 3 miles and -- get this -- out of my 69 minute workout, 24 of those minutes were vigerous! WOOT WOOT! That's the highest vigerous reading I've had so far.

I'm there with ya. I've been up and down more times than a roller coaster. I've had my GoWear Fit since APRIL and it only shows a 10-pound loss since then. How long have you been stable?
