Sms, he has the right to protect his property and business, whether you like it or not. As far as him kicking anybody, I haven't heard or read that. Even IF he did, we don't know what these people were doing. What we DO know is that they were breaking the law. I have no sympathy. Like I said, if these people win this suit, then it leaves the chance wide open that future run-ins will lead to shooting these criminals to death. No witnesses, no legal complaints.

I think it's just preference, Malissa. I personally liked the lap-band because of the separate, equal pillows and pre-shape of the band itself over the Realize which is a straight band with one pillow which doesn't hold a rounded shape when filled. That's just me, though. I thought there could be more issues with erosion with the shape of the Realize because of its non-uniform shape. I may be entirely wrong, but that was what I thought about the two.

The one I absolutely could not finish and almost tried to sue for the time back I lost was (and I can't even remember the name) the movie with Katherine Heigl where she gets knocked up by some loser bum she meets in a bar. That may even be the name: Knocked Up. Omg, it was HORRIBLE.

Actually I have heard from my doctor and others that they started the banding procedure in Europe in the 80's. Hope that helps people feel a bit more comfortable about how long it's been around. However, I too have wondered how many long-termers there are with the band.

Oh wow, Carrie, I'm sorry to hear that. Mine isn't that bad -- just loves his food and I'm sure he feels he's missing out since we have scaled back the eating out.
