But that's the thing -- in THIS case, he DID know. If all I've read is even remotely true, he was in love with her, had had a relationship with her, and she had had problems getting pregnant the traditional way. He supplied sperm for her to have IVF. Sorry, but that's not the same as going to a sperm bank and getting a "withdrawal" from an anonymous source. As far as I'm concerned, this guy IS the father and needs to step up toot sweet.

Sometimes people have to be the "bad guy" in situations like this, otherwise they get walked all over and mistreated. My MIL spent years being a bitch to me until I had finally had enough. I quit saying to myself, "but she's his mother" and said "enough is enough, I'm your WIFE." I gave him the option -- either HE stopped it or I would, and I could almost guarantee bloodshed if I did it (on both sides, not just mine). Slim, no matter what, that IS your home... YOUR home. Not hers, not the brother's, YOURS. If you don't set the ground rules and quick, you had better be prepared to move out cuz momma sounds like she's moving in, in a way. If he can't understand your feelings in this matter, it may be time to pull out the construction paper and crayons, honey. Why is it that these guys (mine included) have these overbearing mothers that they say they don't even respect but then turn to jelly every time momma barks? With my MIL, it was the money -- they give sonny boy money from time to time and seem to hang it over people's heads. I once asked my DH if that was the issue, the money, and he agreed that, yeah, kinda. I had to ask, then, so exactly how much AM I worth?? :smile:

I'm with you on this, Slim. That is YOUR house, YOUR sanctuary!! She needs to learn her boundaries, and giving out YOUR phone number to people and then answering it is WAY over the boundaries, as is coming over all the time for dinner.

She's made numerous references to what was lacking in her upbringing, which is why she says she chose to have all these kids -- so that SOMEbody would love her. :w00t: However, obviously she has no problem trashing mom all the while using her for her own benefit. When she's out running around the town, who the hell is watching those kids? Her mom, I would guess. So... mom wasn't good enough for HER growing up, but so long as it benefits octotwat, mom's good enough for HER kids??

I caught the first few minutes of TMZ last night and showed here getting into an SUV at a gas station, and another woman recognized her and was screaming at her to get a life and get a job and quit sticking it to the taxpayers. :w00t:
