Congrats on your date! Im Dec 10th! We kinda have the same stats! My highest weight recorded was 325. Now im in the 280's.

My Doc has me on a 2- week liquid pre-op diet.. 2 Protein shakes a day and then a low carb dinner. Since my orginal band date was 10/08 i went through the "Pre-OP" diet stage :smile2: My Menu was: B-Atkins shake L- Atkins Shake D- Grilled chicken or Salmon with steamed veggies. Now I get to do it all over again day after Thanksgiving!:thumbup:

i don't think the name should be so specific to Christmas, Santa etc not everyone celebrates the same..Holiday Hottie represents the season w/o being so specific..also is gender neutral.

Sure we can be band buddies..Ive def been nesting and trying to get everything prepared im going to spend TG in Disney so that has my attention moreso then my new birthday of Dec 10 :cool2: My husband is from Long Island area thats where we were married..but i made him into a jersey boy. :eek:

as long your policy doesn't have WLS exclusions there shouldn't be a problem. i was denied because i needed the 6month diet supervision so Dec is my new date. i hear good things regarding Aetna.. Good luck!

i'll have to run out and get Mucinex cause the stuff my dh bought last night isnt helping :sad_smile: Im glad decemember is my new date i actually went to the surgeon in late sept and them bam had a date of 10/8 we werent very prepared for it I was actually at the office in 2005, however after many battles with my insurance at the time my policy had an exclusion we just couldnt win But things turn out for a reason, im looking forward to a new year and better things to come..

I was supposed to be banded today but due to ins issues my new date is Dec 10th. I guess it was fate, i am soo sick right now, cold i think im very congested :tt1: i'll add the idea of "Holiday Hotties" lol guys can be hotties too

im patiently waiting on pins & needles i may add if im good to go for Wednesday.. last minute insurance decides they want more info on weight history blah blah blah so im praying this past 5 day liquid diet was not in vain :eek: i should have an answer by today :thumbup: pray for me!

i have i bought a coat 2 sizes smaller and a few sweaters for winter:teeth_smile:

:biggrin: so i went yesterday to sign the release forms for the surgery and i asked the coordinator if everything is good to go for wednesday..she said she was awaiting approval and that I would hear from her today or Monday ..well she called.. apparently my weight watchers stint from may-august wasn't enough proof of being montiored..They have my highs school records where i was a 37BMI freshman year and been 40+ till now im 28.. so im hoping something will come through she says we are still on for wednesday..so i was confused then my boss needed me so i had to hang up and then they closed for the day am i worrying too much for nothing? i'm all confused:unsure: arghhh Vent over :thumbup:

i'm staying overnight.. I met with the surgeon today i'm the 1st case at 7:30am :w00t: So excited!!!

Day #4 Pre-op diet I'm down 1.5lb since Sunday :blush:And decided to do low-carb 1200 cal max instead ..if I restrict myself I’ll do a lot better than watching every single calorie I had a yummy egg beater omelet w/ canadian bacon lunch grilled chicken on a bed of greens no dressing.. I go tomorrow to sign the paperwork for the surgery ekk its like next week:scared2: this time next week I’ll be on my way to being a different person..
