I am a 48yr old white female and am an insulin dependent diabetic. I have struggled with my weight my whole life. My highest weight was the day I gave birth to my only child...I weighed in at 270 lbs. Since then (28 years ago) I have teetered between 145-240. My lowest weight was 145. My current weight is 240 and my goal weight is 160.
I am hoping to get approved for the Loop Duodenal Switch to better control my diabetes and have better weight loss success. I know that I will have to be on vitamins the rest of my life....but I will take that in contrast to all the insulin I am taking now.
