  1. Hi there! I actually did weight watchers (for real) in Spring 2006 and got a good therapist and lost 45.6 pounds by Spring of 07. I joined a great gym and started working out by finding classes I really liked like kickboxing and spinning and getting a workout buddy. I would say find an activity you like.Even with surgery a program like weight watchers or overeaters anonymous by be helpful to you. This journey is so much more than calories in calories out. The body mind connection is key. I am still working on that as well and I think the reason why I decided to get the lapband was to get control over at least the eating part but therapy has really been a life saver its helpful with dealing with my emotions which I just tend to eat away rather than deal with them. I hope that helps please feel free to hit me up anytime :0)
