I decided to do the lapband because it has less complications. I also love the idea of not having my major organs cut. I need to lose about 110lbs and Ive read lots of stories on here of people who have lost that and more, so I am confident that if I put in the effort I can do it too. You will do very well, just follow the rules and the weight will come off. If you ever need to chat or support, Im here! -

Hello MA Bandsters, Has anyone used Dr. Hess or BMC for the lapband? If so, opinions please?

I am going through BMC. My husband is having it too, so no problems there for me. He should have his lapband placed in Nov. or Dec.

I had my first consult with him on Oct. 2nd. I absolutely loved him, he was wonderful. I really liked Nurse Coordinater Tony as well. I am scheduled for my testing on Oct. 20th. Whens your next appt?

Ive been lurking on this site since June and I finally got the courage to join. My husband and I are getting the lapband. He began his process in July and should get banded by years end if all goes well. I have my first appt. with the surgeon on Oct. 1st which will begin my process. Well, I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I look forward to getting to know you all!!!
