yes you are right.i did the same thing i was thinking i can,t eat big portion so if i eat every thing its OK ,but i put on back 6kg ,thanks God i lost that one and try to lose more in this time ,now i am watching what i am eating,so we have to control food and exercise as well best of luck

hi,i did surgery 2 years ago at that time my BMI was 34 but doct give me approval and i did,nt do any before diet . so you can do it .best of luck

HI, i was very big you can have a look my pictures, my weight was nearly 15.10 stone i have done my surgery 3rd Sept 2008 2 years back ,i think i have best ever decision made,i spent £5.000.i lost not that much i am now 13,8 but its worth it.the main thing you can,t eat much food, i must say its tool might be my choices was not enough good,last 6 week i lost 5 kg.hopefully i will be on track.its up to you but you worth it.best wishes for you.

Hi luv, I understand how you are feeling. It took me 2 years to finally take the plunge and have the band fitted which was done 5 days ago. My friend had hers done about 2 years ago in Belgium, she was over 20 stone and is now at a healthy 9 stone I dont think it's a miracle, I would say it's more of a tool as you have to work with the band to lose weight. For me, I tried everything under the sun and the band really was a last resort and I am determined to work with it. No one can really tell you yes go for it or no dont as it's your choice at the end of the day. Sorry I couldnt help more

i want to share all of you i wanted baby last 3 years but doc told me you should lost weight i did my lap band last Sept and i was 213lb now i am 187lb but i got pregnancy.i am really happy ...................but the main question arias now i have 10cc band in 7 cc ?what i should do now?because i am going to Pakistan for 4 months ....................i really need help

thank u Debbi.i am much obliged u boost me up.but the truth is it u lost 87 lb all but in same time i just lost 28lb.i am not happy with myself.some time i am really really upset what happen with me but ,?????????? you r quit right i should be careful there i will try . i did join gym in Jan to April but now i am busy at work so i have at home trad mill ,purchased new total core machine for tummy ,i did used just once time .that's all .any way finger cross................hope for good thanks again

hello.i banded 3rd of Sept,2008 i was 213 lb now i am 191lb i lost, 22lb so far,i did start exercise 3 or 4 days in jun but when i am reading about different people who lost lots of weight i got depressed.wht should i do ???????????????

hello,thanks for replying ,i am talking about after op not before cause doctor not given me pre diet . i am pretty good with food ,i have restriction ,so i just need to push my self for exercise ,my all weight on tummy i hate my tummy,but good news is it now its going very fluffy.hopefully its will be go.

hello,actually i want to say that don't measure r self on weighting machine, because i have 10cc with 1 ml band ,my first fill was 5ml,and 2nd 27th Oct was 1 ml, so i have total 7 ml. doctor told me u can eat some sold food slowly slowly ,before i was afraid to eating because its stuck ed. now i am very good with food i am eating more than before.and no more hunger as well.thanks for u r advice love.:cursing:

no more worries about weight ,i am very slow loser but i believe so we r now eating too much less before we used to be ,so its should be happen one day,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,be positive and happy

hello,thanx for asking,i have restriction i have 10cc band my first fill was 5cc,i am not wrong with food except after filling i wanted some sweetness, other wise i am not found of sweet even i am not taking suger in tea r coffee, i have main problem of periods,my cycle was not regular ,but afer marry in dec 2006 i have 2nd time periods,doctor told me if u wanna baby u need a regular peiods u are overweight with 97kg and u have polisistic overies ,u r not produce enough eggs, u need a weight lost so i did try i lostweight ,and come back again,so thats the reason i did lap band,and finally i have periods. now i should go for exercise and no more suger boost.thanx again its a great help me .

hi every body,i was banded 3rd sept with 10cc,and first fill was 11th nov with 5cc.my weight was 213 pound and now 198 pound. i was size 18 to 20 now i am 16.with in two 3months i am going again for 2nd fill 27th oct.the problem is i am doing full time work, i dont have time for exercise when after work i came back i dont have energy for exersice.so in this period i did,nt do any exersice.before op i was not found of sweetdish , but now i am .i want to eat some sweet (no add sweet in tea and coffee) after dinner.any body tell me why i need suger boost now? and is it good weight lost in this period?

:tongue2:hello every body ,i did first fill my band on 11th oct.on my request doctor fill my band 5cc before i hav.nt any Fluid in my band .i am happy with oit but now a days i am taking whole day home made juices.apple+pine apple+one lime add some salt and blck papper. mean time i am try to eat yougrt 125ml.when come back to home ?night time i took 2ounce some chicken r fish .is it good and healthy for me ????????plz help but one thing i am now losing some weight.

i am really happy to see this uk forum,i banded 3rd sept from the hospital group ,bermingham i live in norfolk u know its long journy.......any way now i am going to 11th oct for x:ray and my first fill will be on 21st oct, when i was banded i was 97kg now i am 94 kg i just lost 3 kg,,,,,i was good with food and i drink lot of Water as well,i am very slow weight loser so any body tell me after fill can i lose weight??????????couse i am very very depressed??????????????????????:biggrin:

yes i drink lot of Water, but i didn,t do any exersice yet becouse of healing i stared work after 2 weeks ,on store ,so i was busy all day . thanx for u r replaying
