Yes I did, she was a 2 for 1, nutriontist and phycholigist I think. I can't remember her name, I only met her once, it was the same day as my initial appointment with Dr. V. Since I was from out of town, they tried to get all my appts done in the same day to save me from driving. I remember her office was kinda close to his. I wasn't impressed with her, she talked ALOT and got distracted easlily, and she was 20 min late for my appt. But I don't care, I just did whatever I needed to do to get my surgery.

Yeah the doc is a little strange. But while I was at the hospital he was very attentive. I've only seen him once post op. Which is usual, you mostly see the nurses unless there is a problem. But I will see Veninga on the 30th for check up. I have been pretty happy with his office and after care.
Only thing is they're "slow fillers", to me anyway. It took me almost 5 months to have strong restriction. I think the fills they gave me were too small. I was banded in Aug and have lost 30lbs. Just don't expect to have restriction right out of surgery. That only happens for a select few, lol. It take most of us a few fills.

Hey lovely, I'm so glad your fill went well! I knew it would
How many cc's do you have now?? I'm sure you'll keep losing my dear. I was bad yesterday, I had Ben & Jerry's... But I was on vacation! haha
Everything is good here, we're back from the mountains. My hubby has to work tomorrow, so I'm going house hunting. It's so much fun!
I'll try to get in chat sometime and say hi! Have a great night! Muah!

My brother liked it! ha. First thing he said. Took my mom a minute to warm up to it, but she liked it too, haha.
Got me some yummy tea! I hadn't thought about gatorade, I'll have to get some of that. I did get some protein bullets from GNC, if I mix them with lemonade they are yummy.
Are you all packed??

31 lbs yay!! That's awesome. and to answer your question, you probably already have some fluid in your band, but all docs do it different. my doc put 2cc in when i had the surgery. but the tighter your band gets yes you will most def continue to lose at a good pace. but, not to bust your bubble, your probably losing really good right now because you haven't eaten much but liquids and mushies! for me, it got harder when i was able to eat regular food, because you don't have much restriction in the beginning, you'll catch yourself wanting to overeat. just see how you feel after your first fill. who knows, you might have great restriction after the first fill!
I did go walking today with my lab. We jogged two blocks! And I almost passed out! haha
Off to my hair appt!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you get your house cleaned? Today was a good day. Tried to eat some bread little bit ago. That was hard! So I didn't eat much. When can you have some food?!
