243 for me!!!!!

OK here's where I'm at... 1. WEIGHT-Start 328 at consultation, 288 at surgery , now 244, down 84 pounds total, 44 since surgery. 2. FILLS-I've had 3 fills 3, 2, 2 3. RESTRICTION-this is the first time I've felt the restriction I'd heard people talk about 1 meal is now 2 or 3. 4. RULES-Starting to be able to eat less but more then 1/4-1/2 of a cup, trying to take smaller bites and chew, chew, chew but still rushing through meals. 5. ANYTHING ELSE-Going on vacation next month and see the surgeon the day after we return I hope I don't gain. Having GB surgery November 6th.

Like all have mentioned all Dr's are different and you really need to go by the guidlines you are given by them. I'll tell you this from my experience I bought a lot of Soups to have on the ready but I didn;t really want much to eat, it wasn't a oh I feel bad and don't want to eat I just had no intrest in eating. I kept SF Fudgesicles, Popsicles on hand and make sure youfind a Protein drink you like - GMC will let you return them if you don't like them after you buy. Pain wasn't bad I was sent home with plenty of lortab but only used it when I wanted to sleep to make sure pain didn't wake me up. Good Luck with your surgery tomorrow....

Welcome this is a pretty slow room make sure you get support from those who got banded around the sametime you did by your post it would be the 2009 September room. I hope all went well on your surgery. My partner travels to BWI often to work, I went a couple months ago for the weekend. Good Luck:thumbup:

That's where I'm at CA, 7cc, not ready to call it my sweet spot yet but looks pretty dang close. I'm not eating much before feeling full but still having night munchie issues. about 3 weeks out from my last fill and I'm losing about 1 pound a week.

Looks like Fox 41 removed the video that was at the link I posted. I'm at 244 this Friday.......

The band has worked well for me so far but I have to say that my PCP was suprised when he saw me last week, He hadn't seen me since before my surgery. He said most of his paitents only lose 30-40 pounds. I was at 328 when I had my first consultation in October I'm at 245 now just 46 pounds more and I'll be below my USAF max which I hadn't seen in years.

Sorry guys I thought I was on the "Master Thread #1" when I posted those last 2 items.

I had a good visit with my Dr. today my lab numbers are mostly in the normal range; my HDL (good cholesterol) was 39 and normal is >39 so that's close and my triglycerides are still high but down over 100 points from last time and only about 30 points high. I suprised the heck out of my Dr he walked in and his eyes got huge. He asked my what I had been doing I reminded him of my surgery and he was still suprised I guess I'm his most successful patient. Sadly he didn't take me off any medications.

JT's A TV STAR The local United Way did a kickoff thing at our building on Wednesday and of all of us that we're down there, couple hundred, guess who FOX 41 caught picking his nose. I agree double check the insurance companies are full of bad information I was told one thing twice by two different people not I'm being told they informed me wrong....oops sorry about that.

OK I'm going to stop complaining about my issues they are nothing to what you've gone through. Glad you getting back on the program.

Uhm for her partner; I wasn't questioning it being used on a bottom just who's bottom was it used on.

Friday again 4 day weekend and my honey is going to be home. I'm at 247 this morning.

I have a lot to overweight but I'm happy to just be obese now. instead of severely obese.

Ok for those that are disappointed that more aren't noticing I have one for you. We go down to the cafeteria every morning to get ice water the cashier sees us as we leave even if we don't buy anything. Monday I came in to the building through their door and she looked at me really funny and asked if I'd lost weight.......I was like yeah a little....it was to funny.... People will notice..... By the way I hate the liquid phase after a fill I don't lose anything.....in fact I think I'm up a bit.

Ok I just say this and have never been in the powder room before - WOW it's so nice in here.... Anyway someone may have mentioned this but how do we know the lube was for her bottom? This maybe the thread that started the one in the Mens Room......

My last fill the Dr pulled out all of my Fluid to see how much was in there all was present and accounted for so he put it back in plus some for my fill. Pulled out 5 put in 7.

Thanks to everyone for the encouragement and support incase I don't say it enough.

Ok I heard this on the radio this morning and thought it was encouraging for us bandsters. A certian weight loss program that provides pre packaged food (JC) is getting ready to launch a new campaign that their current spokes person has lost and incredable 35 pounds in 8 months. Just struck me that that company is considering 35 pounds in 8 months success and we are discouraged by only X since April.
