Thanks everyone for your encouraging words...this last month has been discouraging, still the same this week as the last 3 or so. myturn - I didn't know, or maybe I overlooked post, about your husband. My other half has Polisystic (sp) Kidney Disease his mother died from it it's passed from generation to generation they had told him in his 30's he was probably safe but we found out about 5 years ago that he has it. I hope your DH is doing well with his transplant. We constatnly worry that Kirk's will go anytime. -

OK bunnies I'm freaking out...... They just announced on FaceBook that my 30 year high school reunion is June 19th that means that I have 6 months and 5 days to lose my next 30-40 pounds. I was fat all through school and would love to go back under that 200 lb mark and be one of the few hot 48 yearolds there......I'm not superficial...... -

I have the older style Realize Band not really sure what it holds. I konw I'm so close to 100lbs and I've just been stuck over the last couple weeks maybe this adjustment will put me under/over the 100lb mark this week....all liquids for a while. My goal on my signature is 220 but that's a first goal I want to get down to the 190's maybe even high 180's. -

Welcome ladies as you can see our area is very slow but there are many of us out here. Good luck with your journies. -
Sorry I've been MIA for the last couple weeks I've been really down about no change in my weight for what 2-3 weeks. I get a fill on Tuesday I just hope the doc is happy with my progress. We got our floors in what a week that was took a day longer then they said it would and that was working long hours...the installer actually took a box of flooring after the job was complete I talked to the sales person at Lowe's she called him and he came clean about it and took it back so we could get some credit for it.

Wii Mario Kart is so much fun I play online worldwide and get beat all the time I'm sure by little kids. Kirk got me a wii Fit Plus and AE Sports Active for Christmas got he Fit setup and played it a little on Friday. Have fun...... -
They paid everything after except my $1,000 max out-of-pocket. The one thing to watch for is out of network providers I had one and it took awhile to get that paid they paid part of it and that provider took that as full payment but I almost had to pay $2,000 for that one.

I weighed in at 230 this week. Guess that's pretty good since I've indulged a bit in holiday treats.
-
Just one that I didn't do it sooner...... I've struggled with my weight most of my life in the last several years I've been going up and up. My brother died at 43 of aa massive heartattack, all of my dad's brothers dies of heartattacks adn my dad had heart problems but eventually died in a car accident. I had two blockages myself at 42 and almost had open heart surgery so this could have meant life or death for me.

Having a tough weekend keep snacking on bits and pieces. Seems like a lot to me but I guess in the long run it's not a lot ot most. One more week and the holidays will pass and things can get back to normal. I'm getting a fill on 1/12 I've had good restriction but I think it's fading. I'm anxious to get this next 30-40 pounds off. Sorry random thoughts at 2:39am....... -
Hope all goes well......
-
If I don't get back on before your surgery good luck neighbor.
-
No change for me this week.......ugh... Guess I should be ok with that since treats have been around and I bought a box (small box) of bourbon balls last weekend that I've munched on a bit (1 or 2 a day). Busy week coming materials for new flooring arrived yesterday cleaning out the living room and kitchen to get ready for installation on Monday.

Some of the changes will be easier then you think others not so much. I was always the guy at work that "Had to have a diet coke with my lunch" now not so much. I do struggle with chewing and smaller bites.

WB db stay intouch.....we miss all of the missing bunnies -
Well to my suprise I was at 231 this evening actually 230.8 but I don't want to be greedy and round down. I to need to get back to exercise. Monday is the last day of my lifting restriction from my gb surgery won't have an excuse after that.

I did have to have 5 years of history and 6 months in the last year (didn't have to be in a row) someone else on the same plan as me same Dr. has to have his in a row. Seems they change/apply the rules randomly.

Banded 11/20. When can start back weight training?
JayTee562 replied to daniel1's topic in The Guys’ Room
daniel - it gets slow in here sometimes. I'm not a good one to answer your question since surgery I've been doing some walking but haven't started a major exercise program. I've seen threads on this before somewhere (I thought in the mens room) bit can't find it. I know I'm not a lot of help but didn't want you to feel ignored. -
I've lost 56 pounds since surgery 96 total since consultation. I'm doing good my primary care doctor and my surgeon are both happy with my progress. I'm 12 pounds from my first goal I'm setting a secondary goal to get somewhere below 200 after that.
