I has IBS before surgery so could never tolerate it for long periods.
It’s an older med with verifiable track record. I’d try it way before the injectable stuff.

My doctor wants to try me on metformin 500mg twice daily but i am scared and skeptical of the entire thing. id be more willing to try GLP-1 inhibitors but i am looking for advice on metformin. Success or horror stories are welcome

Perchance, does anyone live in Washington (state), Oregon, Idaho, Montana, or Utah? I live in Washington and so far have had one person who knows of a DS surgeon - in Utah. Looks like that may be my closest option.
i am currently doing workups to get approved for a surgeon that specializes in DS or SADI his is in CHI franciscan network out of silverdale washington . DR Angel reyes
