Dr Roye's partner DrRyder did my surgery but I see Dr Roye now because my doctor is on leave. I was banded 12/22/08.

Congrats I'm happy for you. I'm so anxious to get there I have 2 pounds to lose to get there and it is driving me crazy!!

Yes I had the same problem when I first had my surgery I don't have it any more. But my sister had surgery in December and she says the same thing. So I guess it is common.

I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't go through as much as you did but I loss both grandparents last year too. My grandmother in March and grandfather in August. I know it's very hard but you gotta keep pushing your self because when it's all said and done it's your health that is in jeopardy. I say take your time and push your self a little further each day you can do it! Keep intouch if you need someone to talk to. Keep in mind God doesn't give us any more than we can handle sometimes we wonder why I think it's a test of our faith in him. I'm rooting for you, you can do it!!!!!

what is the name of the food plan you are doing?

I got the Realize band 12-22-08 and the Realize band has been a blessing to me. I have lost 81 pounds since surgery and I'm very happy I have like 25 pounds to go but I'm truly happy and couldn't have done it without my band!

I'm doing so much better now I had a fill on thursday and have my restriction back I had gained weight before my fill I had went up to 209 since the fill I have lost 7 pounds current weight is 203 I'm so excited and today is my 1 year anniversary. Down 82 pounds go me!!!!!!

Yes that's the best to do. I had the same thing happen to me I was so tight I couldn't even swallow Water. I had all my Fluid taken out. Thank god u don't have to I'm still trying to play catch up I lose and gain I will finally go in for a fill thursday to get me back to where I was before all the drama began. I hope this jump starts my weight loss again because I need it I'm tired of yo-yoing. I think u will do fine having a small unfill.

I'm still the same no loss for me this week.:thumbup:

Sad to say I gained weight (3 pounds) last week. So I will try for a better week this week. My weight always goes up or down 2-3 pounds all the time.

Didn't lose anything this week! :confused: LOL!

Hello everyone I'm happy to say I lost 2 pounds this week. I feel happy about that seeing as though my weight has been the same for a while. Current weight 204!

I'm so glad to see that I'm not the only one who thought this was a great joy to finally be able to cross my legs. To some people it may be silly but it's a wonderful thing to someone who couldn't do it because it hurt or your leg wouldn't stay crossed or just looked like I was struggling. I was able to cross my legs comfortably at a size 18 and now I sit like that all the time. I'm now a size 14 it is so classy to sit with your legs crossed.

I would love to join! I would like to lost 10 pounds by christmas it would be my year mark 12/22 so I really would like to do it. I have been stuck at the same weight lose a couple gain them right back for the last 2 months. I got a fill last week monday and it was to tight I had lost 6 pounds in 3 days and was vomiting and sliming like crazy so my surgeon took all the Fluid out my band and started me all over so this challenge would be great for me. It's a new start for me I'm back dawn to 4cc's from 6cc's so i'm starting all over again. Here's to a new me!!!!:biggrin:

Current weight 206 if I could just get below 200 I would be happy.

Hi all I was banded 12/22/08 and to my surprise it went very well being banded around the holidays. I have currently lost 76 pounds and I'm feeling wonderful and my sleep apnea is gone! I want to wish all of you the best and I'm so very happy for you all chosing to make this wonderful change in your lives.

I had the same problem with my rings they are to big. But instead of sizing it I had ring guards put in until I loose all my weight so I don't have to keep resizing my rings.

Same here every time I get a fill I feel crampy, bloated, and gassy for the first two days.

I also have the Realize band I got my band 12-22-08 and I have lost 68 pounds. I have 5.5 in my band I had some taken out because I kept throwing up but I'm doing much better now. I love my band too.

Congrats to see we are both doing good. Keep going it will pay off.

I was banded 12/22 and I have been losing slowly but I'm very happy I have lost 63lbs. I never could of done it without my band I am very happy.:biggrin:

Congrats I got the realize band 12/22 and I'm doing great I didn't have any problems either. I'm down 63 lbs and feeling great I think u will love ur band I love mine I think it's the best thing I could of done for myself. Good luck and congrats on ur weight loss.

That's great 90 lbs down in a year your doing wonderful. I'm going on 5 months post op and I want to lose 110 pounds in 1 year but i will take what I can get. I would love a buddy to talk to and help me out as well as me helping you if you are interested let me know. Keep up the good work you are doing great I'm proud of you.:smile:

I'm down 56 lbs since 12/22/08

I can't fit any of my old jeans and tops.

The best for me was going into lane bryant and fittting a size 1 last month and this month they are too big. I am officially to small for lane bryant I would of never believed this day would come. Also taking the stairs I don't ride the elevator to the 3rd floor at work any more. I take the stairs 3-4 times a day and don't get winded I love this band it is helping me so much.:laugh:

I was getting stuck often also so I tried slowing down and chewing a lot more and now I really don't have any problems now. I think it is very important to eat slowly and chew chew chew.
