June 22nd will be here before I know it. I’m so ready for this new journey. I’m so tired of feeling this way about how I look and ache all over, my poor -very supportive husband thinks I don’t love him because I avoid sex due to my insecurities. My body grosses me out, he doesn’t understand that it should be enough for me that he loves me and doesn’t care about my weight, but it matters to me🤦🏽‍♀️

I’m right there with you. I start pre op diet Monday and I’m ready to go. Bring it on.

UPDATE- went out for ice cream with my kids yesterday and had some pizza today. Im ready to rock and roll tomorrow morning!!

Just a FYI, from mayo Clinic, it seems that Iron should not be taken together with Calcium or Multivitamins.

https://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements/iron-supplement-oral-route-parenteral-route/precautions/drg-20070148#:~:text=Do not take Iron  supplements, each medicine or dietary supplement.

Yes my surgeons directions are multi am and pm and chew Calcium at noon. Thank you though

  4. I just had my last dr visit. Getting cardiac clearance today bloodwork in three weeks. Dr office is applying to my ins for pre approval. I’m holding my breath. There’s no reason for them to decline it but they gave me a hassle about getting endoscopy and had to appeal three times for that. Crossing my fingers I’ll be able to keep june22 date

Hi, I understand how you might find this difficult and overwhelming, but what is very important is that you can learn a lot by doing simple searches. My bypass is coming up on June 5th and the other night I was simply wondering if anyone that completed this surgery had regrets. I just typed in the word “regret” in the search box and a vast array of information, some very old some newer came up. I could go to sleep that night calm, after I read all those posts. I learned that while initially some go through a regret stage, in time everyone is content with the life decision they made. This website is amazing when it comes to information. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice!! Im working on investigating around the site to learn it❤️

It’s so hard! I have gained five pounds since getting the band removed 3 weeks ago…. :( feeling very anxious. My program says they won’t do surgery if your weight on surgery day is more than when you started! I’m within 4 pounds of that and have 3 weeks to go :(

I completely understand that. That’s why I’ve gone down to Protein Shakes, tuna salad, egg salad etc. mainly I have three shakes a day and pushing the Water. I’m almost back to my lap band weight. I’m so afraid of not making the weight I need to get the surgery. You got this. It’s a journey.
