Hey, I am also being banded in KY in october what hospital are you at? I am at KDMC in ashland! I have not heard anything about tanning other than to wait unitl your scars heal completely because they will be wore if you do not!

Try Nectar its fan-freaking-tastic you can get this powder from bariatriceating.com its a great website and they have tons of really good powder. I also use mega protein cookies and creak from GNC tastes like a milkshake!

Yup sounds like you are in Ketosis...this is why some people give in on the protein it can also cause you to have funky breath...and ummm "other" funky odors :smile::confused:

Hey all I am hopefully being banded on October 14th...I am a trumpet major in college and I am concerned about how this will affect my playing post op for awhile...You need lots of air and abdominal pressure to pull off playing...I have 7 days till I start classes again...is that long enough? I am really worried about hernias mostly. My professor said that he has gotten 2 hernias from things such as playing to soon after operations. Any suggestions?!?!? Is 7 days enough to start playing again?:cursing::embaressed_smile:

my doc told me there was not a big difference...just like two different brands i guess the only thing is that the realize band comes with this new tech support system! Kinda cool all of this online tracking stuff comes with it kinda neat ...but in the end its just the same as the other
