I am an operating room nurse, and I have personally watched these surgeries. No worries, your surgeon is in complete control! The surgeon sits at a console and is in control of all movements of the robot instruments. It's actually very neat to watch and the clarity is great!

I'm learning so much from you all. This is not an easy journey, but thankful for all of the information.

I really like the idea of taking a sip of Water every 15 minutes, and if tolerated, working your way down to every 14 minutes, and so on.

So many great insights here. Weight loss will definitely help when it comes to getting rid of other comorbidities. To me, it sounds like the benefits will far outweigh the cons here.

You look amazing!!!

I'm so happy for you! That's great news!

This is such a hard journey for all, and completely life changing in more ways than one. The change of losing weight, the change of not having the choice to eat whatever you want, and I'm sure many other changes along the way as well. Keep "fighting the good fight" as they say, it will be worth it in the end!

I agree with what everyone is saying. I would also check with your doctor as well.

Yes, definitely try GasX.

I definitely agree, the earlier you can get help, the better. This is your journey, and taking control now is best. Thanks for your honesty. I think the biggest part is that you recognize it, and want help. Next, is taking the next step and making that call to your care team.

I wish you all the best on your journeys! I am an operating room nurse, and I've seen many of these surgeries. Thinking about surgery and doing your part to help is the best advice. Your surgeon and your team want the best outcome for your success, and you are a part of that team as well!

A friend of mine had bariatric surgery a few years ago, lost weight and she did slowly gain some weight back. She has been doing these injections for the last few months. She does get sick on occasion, but she has lost another 17 pounds. She looks great! I hope you all do as well!
