  18. I am in the pre op stage and my most important questions were: 1. What is the process in getting approval (of course this is based on your insurance) 2. What to expect after surgery 3. How painful is the surgery (this can differ from person to person) 4. How can a person mentally prepare for this procedure ?
  19. I just started my process in January 2023 and had my first nutrition class on 3/15 and I was also sent lots of info to stay on track before and after the surgery! I’m nervous and excited for the future. My surgery will most likely be in July. When do you think you will be scheduled? I would love to follow your progress ???

  21. I am so sorry that you’re going thru this and praying ?? for a speedy recovery ❤️‍?
  22. I’m still in the pre op stage but I think if you’re honest with the psych dr they will require you to go for additional classes which is a good thing because you can really hurt yourself if you over eat after WLS. Good luck sis ?
  23. Hey, I’ve never heard of this? Is this just going from a bypass to sleeve? Or?
  24. Hey lady, I work for the insurance carrier and Like you said each policy varies. You included what’s called an SBC you will need to request for the actual Contract or benefit booklet to get the details. You should also call the insurance company to ask the question and what are the requirements. Good luck ??
  25. I am still in the pre op stage and if God willing I should have my surgery July 2023 with this dr. Did you have your WLS with this dr? How was your experience?
