hi i was banded on 8/25/08 doing good down 22 pounds from stockton

hi i am from stockton and i had my band put on 8/25/08 and i work in a high school with special needs students i took off 4 weeks due to the fact that i do alot of lifting and changes in my class i all so had a hernia repaired at the same time my doc was doc Antonio K Coirin if there is no lifting in your job i would say 2 weeks would be enough time but your doc will let you know

hi i had my LB on on aug 25 and i am off for 6 wks i do heavy lifting and i do a lot of pushing pulling squoting so my doc gave me off tell i felt i needed to be off to heal and ajust to diffrent life style the LB changes your life in a good way good luck :girl_hug:

i was very happy that my doc fixed mine no more meds been on them for over 10 years for heart burn and its kinda funny but my hubby said i am not soreing

thats so nice my hubby told me he can already see the diffrence in me land its only been a week i been banded its great when they support us good luck

hi my name is christina and i was banded on 8/25 me and my hubby have many things planned and he to thought like your wife but for me i made the choice to get it now there is always going to be something and holidays the way i look at it this is the rest of my new life good luck

hi i took my meds for 2 days still have small amount of pain at port site but i can take it it is a lot better today i can bend down lol

hi i am 4 days post op and today i got to have my cream of wheat it was gd and i think its normal to feel scared about food i know i have the same feelings about food i am drinking Protein Shake and Water today i had a bm first one thank god lol no pain meds for me i stopped them so i am feeling everything when i move

hi i to was banded on the 25th of august same day i came home 12 was surgery and iwas on my way home by3pm shoulder pain was most of the pain i felt and they said to walk to help that

hi i am 24hrs post op and i did have some shoulder pain the nurses and doc told me it was the gas trying to disapate and it goes to the shoulders i had it befor when i had surgery walking is what i have done to help the pain and a light message of the shoulders its just a small pain now hope this helps

hi i had my band put on 8/25/08 it went well i to have tricare and i went to my seminar on may 21 08 and i was aproved i 90 days i thought that was fast i am happy i did 2 weeks of liver diet to shrink it that is and lost 14 pounds day of surgery 259 today is the first day after band put in place and i cant sleep so i dropped you a line good luck

i am getting banded on the 25th to i am down 10 and today i did slip a little but i am back with it now 2 more days to go tomorrow its a light bk and then liquids i check in at 9:30 and surgery is at 11:30
