Nice! I just had my consultation with him today - had to wait til 09 rolled around for my new insurance. How's your journey goin?

Thanks Gina! I will keep you all updated, and can't wait to see you at the next support group meeting. :-)

Feeling good, healing up well, enjoying being active and exercising! I'm actually hungry now, yesterday was the first time I got hungry since surgery. I'm still on full liquids so there's not much thought involved with "eating" but it works. It's weird to not obsess over food, and it's a relief too!
How are you doing with your progress toward bandhood?

Hey Dani, looks like you and I are partners in the lose-200-lbs-or-so group. There's not too many of us, I think a lot of surgeons prefer bypass for higher weight loss goals. Just wanted to say howdy and let's stay in touch. We have further to go, but now that we're banded anything is possible! :-)

Hey lady, how are you doing? Apparently I created a social group at the same time another lady from our support group did, so join "Banded around Burbank" instead - it's a great group of people, mostly banded by Dr. Quilici.
YIKES I have surgery in three days!!!! Wow I think it's just hitting me. But I'm prepared so WOOHOO!

I feel better and better as every day goes by. I lasted all day yesterday without a nap, woohoo! I usually take the pain med before bed too, because I'm a side-sleeper and I move a lot. But the night before last, I slept like a rock! And last night I slept really well too, was even able to sleep on both sides. I feel less sore today than yesterday, and plan on heading to the gym in a few to go for a walk. It's not as fun walking around my neighborhood without someone to go with me. How are you doing today?

I probably have a few more months, I'm getting my insurance to pay for it and they are making me jump through tons of hoops. But it will be worth it! I can't wait!

Hi there, how did your banding go?
I'm hopefully getting banded by Dr. Quilici in April. How was your experience with him? Any tips or pointers you can give me?
