Hello and welcome!
I did not have a revision, I was "virgin" bypass. But, have no regrets and only wish I had done it earlier.
Good luck!

If I knew what I know now I would have just went with bypass from the jump. The regain is ridiculous but that was my fault and the pandy didn’t help either. So now im headed for a revision in December😫On 01/16/2021 at 12:16, NYCGirl9269 said:
I would like to see your results post 18 months and then perhaps I'd consider it. Seen too many regains too fast with the sleeve.

When I had my sleeve I was in nursing school I had surgery that Thursday had to stay in the hospital for 2 days because of my blood pressure. Was released Sunday and was at school Monday morning. Even tho everyone said I looked like death lol I got through it and graduated! With this revision I’m hoping to do the same. I hate being at home honestly 😫

Hiiiiii..so I’ve been anemic all my life..it got worst after surgery. I was so close to getting iv infusions but I found out doing my own research that ferrous sulfate does not work for me, I couldn’t tolerate it at all so I switched myself to ferrous gluconate 2 tabs 3 times a day for a month..I was scheduled for iv infusion towards the end of the month but it was cancelled since It was climbing back up. I also added a liquid iron my grandma recommended. And now everything is a okay. I heard the iv infusions are good and they get your levels up but u still have to maintain them. Good luck and I hope u find something that worksOn 10/23/2022 at 15:10, cheryl o said:
Hello, i am almost one yr post op. I had my RNY 11/1/2021, down 142lbs and require Iron IV infusion. I am waiting for the insurance approval to get scheduled. Has anyone else done this and how did you feel afterwards? Did you still have to continue taking mutivitamins with Iron? I do feel without energy and thought i was doing fine, till my bloodwork never got better

Is this revision due to GERD? I'm trying to make the decision between sleeve and bypass myself so any experience you had would be helpful. Thanks.
Well I have some gerd with weight gain with my vsg surgery which was in 2018. So last year I asked if I can get resleeved due to the weight gain and slight gerd issues. and i was told in California they don’t do that the only option I had was bypass, So I went with that..my surgery was cancelled at 0100 last year due to my Iron levels. I had to do the 10 week class as part of the revision requirements. So I’m all cleared now (this year) i plan on doing things way different this time around and actually puttin in the work..with my sleeve I didn’t workout or anything (I don’t advise that all) plus we were in the pandy sooooooo crossing fingers that I find things that help me along this new journey so I stay consistent but it’s all mental Honestly! -
Hiii everyone I’m Sasha. I had vsg surgery in 2018 and I will be having it revised to bypass 12/22. Looking for any surgery buddies around that time. I’m also excited to read everyone’s journeys on the subject so that I may prepare and not seem so alone. I hope everyone is well on this Saturday❤️
