  1. Girl, just found out today that my port has a leak somewhere. will have it replaced monday. Urrggghhh!! Well, anyways, how r u? hope everything is ok.

  4. How r u miss lady? Just wanted wish u a merry christmas and a happy new year! On another note, i have to have surgery monday because i have a leak in my port somewhere so they have to replace it. Bummer! But oh well! Im glad that at least i know why my restriction was not lasting long. TTYL!

  5. I was banded june 5. I started working out immediately, i've lost quite a bit in inches but not as much as i think i should have since workin out. my weight still fluctuates but not as much as it did at first. im just really discouraged and wonderin if it was really worth it.

  10. hey girl. thanx for the advice. i guess i really didn't pay attention to the LABEL! DAMN! I've been writing down my drinks and OMG! I went to the doctor monday and we decided not to fill. Just write what i eat down and go back in 2weeks. It's so different when u start writing down everything. I will be letting u know how it goes without all those drinks! We're having a christmas party for work friday and he did say that i can have Patron Silver, my drink of choice. He said mixed drinks have too many calories1 LOL!

  13. i had my surg on thurs and went back to work on monday. I used to walk at the park 3 mi and a trainer told me i needed to change because i wasn't seein much progress, again too my doc wasn't doin my fills appropriately. So i started doing the bike, then the elipitcal. My new doc told me to stop the weights and i did, i do light weights for my arms and recently went to ball for abs and arms. But if u think i should try walkin outside again i'll give it a try. My dieting, well i have 7cc in my band and sometimes, well, most times i have issues eating, another thing i don't understand y im not losing a lot!, I can eat a whole smartones lasangna. Most times i don't eat much. I really been thinking alot to day, i do drink a lot of calories though, like tea, powerade, green tea, coke(not many) juice. I don't drink water like i should. I work at nite so(as u can c) so i do have a bad habit of going to the gym after work then going home and eat.

  14. :thumbup:Congratulations on ur wt loss! Any suggests? My wt loss has been really slow and im exercising and everything! I don't know what else to do! I'm really discourage. Any thoughts or whatever u have to offer. I'm 5 months out and have only lost, well started at 367, now 324. Sad isn't it? HELP!:cry_smile::crying:

  16. i work out on average at least 4-5 days a week. i do the eliptical for 35-45 minutes and the treadmill for about 20min. then i do light weights. I don't know what my problem is. I'm a little discouraged right now because i measured and weighted yesterday and my weight loss for 7 weeks was 13# and i lost 2 inches off my waist, 1/2 inch off my neck, 1/4 inch off my r arm, 1 inch off my left arm, 1 inch off both thighs, 1 inch off of chest and nothing off my hips. I really expected more because i've been working really hard! I don't even want to go to the gym anymore. My friend that had it done 1 month after me had mad results and she hadn't been to the gym but maybe 3 times in these 7 weeks! I am very happy for her but what's wrong with me????? Very depressed and upset with myself now.

  17. yes, i have been banded - june 5 of this year. my weight loss has been slow. Too slow! I had to go through this whole ordeal of changing docs and have done well since changing but im still disappointed with the weight loss.
