  1. My surgeons forever plan has 1/4th cup of protien and 1/4 cup of a side (veggies 3x a day, 1 daily starch, 1 daily fruit) eat protien first, sometimes i cant eat it all or even get to my side.
  2. Let me start by saying I know stalls are normal. I know it won't drop off over night. I know this is a process, and I must trust it. But I can't help thinking that I might be doing something wrong here?? I am 7-8 weeks post op, and since my three week stall ? I will lose half a pound, then stay that weight for a week or longer, then loose half a pound, then stay that weight. This has been happening for over a month, and it is so frustrating! I haven't seen anyone else have something similar to this happen. The only thing on my plan that I haven't completely 100% followed is working out consistently. I walk as much as I can, daily, but haven't gotten to really do weights or anything because I have no idea what I am doing in the gym (meeting with a free consultation to get a better grip on what they have and what is what at the gym tonight) Could not weight lifting really cause this though?
  3. When was your last doctor appointment?
  4. I dont know what your dress code for your work is but I highly recommend you look at the three in one size pants options! I have a couple pairs of old navy ones. I got them on sale for around 25 dollars. I figured since they will fit size 14 16 and 18 I will get good use out of them! the black rockstar ones are not jean like material so I wear them as if they are skinny slacks for work. (I work in a bank)
  5. my plan said it didnt matter till i started purreed/soft foods
  6. i dont think it is fair to cast your own opinion or feeling of contentness onto her.. both of you have different outlooks and thats okay - you shouldnt shame her for it.
  7. so i just "ate" for first time since surgery (my plan is 2 week clear liquid, 2 week yogurt/cottage cheese, 2 week soft/puree, then regular) I had a quarter cup of yogurt and i can feel my tummy gurgling lol its like it is cutting flips in there
  8. oh and 8 days post opp and my wedding ring fell off. lol
  9. we are almost half way through the month which means almost half way through all of use today sucks. this very much is a mind game. i was fine all week last week with my protien going down but today i just dont want anything except plain water.
  10. Oh love ? hopefully they reschedule you fast. They didn't even test me till I was on the floor in my room. After surgery!
  11. If you have some one willing I'd say yes!
  12. Just try to breathe. I was sobbing and anesthesia was hooking me up so stressed about my 8 year old being okay if anything happened. Keep pushing through!
  13. I'm here too in business office 10/3'ers we got this!
  14. Even if they don't want you to you can do it on your own or ease yourself into it!
  15. i don't understand why your surgeon didn't push you towards bypass instead of sleeve if they thought your PCOS would create problems down the road. I am so sorry you are going through with it, and even more sorry our health care system sucks especially after what happened this past summer... unfortunately its going to be harder now for you to get a hysterectomy. There was a list circulating on google, of all the doctors in the US willing to do hysterectomys without hoops, they would just submit to your insurance for approval and I will pray for you that the PCOS issues is enough or that they will atleast put you on something to put you into early menopause to keep it at bay
  16. if im reading your profile correctly, youve lost 80 lbs in the last 60 days. thats amazing! It is typical for weight to slow... i saw above where you think you might be eating too much protien, what are you getting daily with all of your macros?
  17. My preop is 5 optifast shakes, and one meal with 2 cups of raw veggies/1 cup cooked veggies, 3-4 ounces of lean meat, one teaspoon of a fat servicing (like a lite ranch or low fat mayo), and one fruit serving, around the size of a baseball/1/2 cup of unsweetened sugar free applesauce there is no way you could eat that much food if youre post op though... you could do the shakes, but be careful with picking them my surgeons office does not recommend premier... here is a link to one of the best surgeons in mexico, and their preop diet https://www.pompeiisurgical.com/download.php
  18. Monday is getting closer and closer. If anyone else has a 10/3 date (I know I have saw a few) send me a message and we can check on each other I am most looking forward to not going so crazy over how often my work brings food in. The last day of the month, they always bring in food to celebrate in end of month (we do loans). and last friday they did a potluck. yesterday my manager brought donuts, you get the idea...
  19. I had my last appointment yesterday. Its getting really real!!
