food for Today: 1 Protein Bar Tuna salad on a slice of Smoked Gouda cheese 1/2 Cup chicken, Broccoli & Rice 1/2 Cup Bannana pudding Water: 48 oz Exercize: Lots of heavy moving at work (i.e. None) Last week I felt so restricted and rarely felt hungry. This week my stomach is growling within an hour of eating the same or even larger portions than last week. Not sure if its really because I need a fill or if it because of all the carbs I ate over the weekend making me have carb-craving hunger pains. Either way I have my 1-year appt next Wed. I'll probably ask them to give me just a small tweak.

Cynthia - Don't worry about us. You need to take care of yourself and enjoy this time with the band and with Wes. Just remember we are always here for you. OK I finally got the guts to get back on the scale after this weekend. Managed to gain 2 pounds from my "binge" at the in-laws. I think I'm finally back on track as of yesterday though. Hopefully I won't keep those 2 pounds for long.

Angela - any update on your port-area problems? When are you back in town again? Do you have an appointment already scheduled? Cynthia - how is your new band holding up? Any chance you are feeling any restriction?

Hi All - Glad to see you again Sea. Hope you can join us for dinner again. No matter where you go you're still a chica here. And, yes, I've been weighing myself WAY TOO Much lately. I know I should stop but I can't seem to help myself lately. What does everyone think about Saturday Sep 16th at The Blue Nile in the City Market? Around 11:30am perhaps. Last note. Haven't changed my ticker but low & behold the scale was down another pound today!!!! OMG that's 6 pounds since last Friday!!!

Hey Robyn - You know I've recently figured out that PMS-ing Carb Attack Connection myself. (I'm a slow learner) BTW 1250 cal isn't bad by my reckoning. OK you could watch your carbs and up that protein a little but give me a break you can't be expected to keep that up every day! If we were that dedicated why did we need this blankity blank "Tool" called the band. I also just got off my TOM last Fri/Sat which may have contributed to the weight loss spurt. Not that its ever helped any the previous 11 months. Well for my food today: Wendy's Chick Strip (Only 1*) with Ranch Dressing Protein Bar Grits w/Butter - One instant package shared w/son. 64oz - Water Exercize - walked 1 lap behind work and lots of manual labor trying to get things moved out of the office for some new carpet we are getting at work. Pathetic but better than nothing. *I gave the other 2 Chicken strips away - was TOO Full on one. Funny less than a month ago I could have managed all three given 45-60 min to work at it. Approx - Totals for today 550 cal / 40 protein. HMMM was going to go to bed but know I think I'll go down and have 1/2 an Isopure Protein Drink to get in another 20g. Think that will bump my cal up to 650ish range.

Nah - though My fav is chicken and I know that doesn't sit with your band well. They also have Beef, Shrimp & Lamb all very good. Their sides include, Collard Greens (Very Yummy), Chick Peas, Potatos & Cabbage, Lentils and more. May sound strange but it is worth a try.

Robyn - as far as my other post goes. It wasn't that I didn't want to tell everyone. I just get superstitious sometimes. I've felt like I've been holding my breath. Afraid that if I said it out loud to anyone, lightning would strike me down and the weight loss would stop or reverse itself. Infact I'm still worried this train has stopped. The last 3 nights I'd get on the scale before bed and see that I was the same or a few ounces heavier than I had woke up that morning. I made the mistake of getting on the scale just before typing this post and sure enough the scale is over 1-1/2 pounds heavier than this morning. There is no way I'm going to lose more than that (IF that) overnight. Oh well, It was a fun ride while it lasted. I couldn't really expect to keep losing a pound a day for long. Hopefully it will still keep coming off faster than it did the last few months though.

Thanks for the offer I'd love to go out with everyone. Honestly. I probably sound like a broken record to some but I LOVE Ethiopian. There's a great little restraunt on the edge of the City Market that is the best. For the Ethiopian "Virgin" it is a food slightly similar to Indian food that is served communally on one large platter and everyone eats off of the same plate. Traditionally you eat it with your fingers using this type of No-Carb Crepe-like flat bread. But they are more than happy to give out individual plates and forks. If no one is interested in that I never say no to Mexican. But then again should I be considering options that don't include food as the central theme? Oh well still haven't learned what those activities might be.

OK gals I've been a little scared to tell you guys this. More paranoid :spy: that if put it in writing it might stop. But here goes... For the last 6-8 months I've only been averaging 1 pound a week. Actually only about 1/2 to 3/4 pounds per week for the last 2 months. And except for the first 2-3 weeks I never really saw more than 3 pounds come off in one week. BUT now this week something strange (but Great!) is happening. First I woke up Tuesday a pound down from Sunday and thought "Wow! :wow2:at this rate maybe I'll lose 2 pounds by the end of the week" Then I woke up Wednesday & was another pound down, "WHAT?! is my scale wrong, nope still working?" Then Today I wake up and what do I see? ANOTHER POUND GONE!!! This is just TOO WEIRD BUT AGAIN WOW!!! :loco:At this rate I just might lose 5-6 pounds by the end of the week.:bounce: This just may be my biggest weight loss week since my recovery liquid/mushy diet phases. Strange thing is I don't really know what's causing it except maybe our Chicas Accountability Log. I haven't exercized once since a week ago Tuesday. On the other hand, the food log has made me more aware of what I'm eating. Every day there has been at least once that I've stopped and asked myself "Do you really want to eat this? Your going to have to write it down later. Or are you just reaching for the food out of habit?" I doubt this will keep my will power in line for long but Right now I'm so Happy!! :whoo:Things were moving so slowly there the last several months I didn't think there was going to be anyway I could reach my 75 pound loss goal by my bandversary Sep 13th :violin:but now its looking just a little more possible. I'd have to lose 5 pounds over the next 14 days but maybe just maybe I can get there, if only I can keep this ball moving a little longer. Wish me luck! AND THANKYOU ALL FOR THE SUPPORT YOU HAVE GIVEN ME ALREADY!!!!! I COULDN'T HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT EVERY ONE OF YOU!!!!! :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Angela, those symptoms you posted on the accountability sight sound serious. I'm worried for you. I think you need to see someone as soon as possible whether it is Hoehn or Malley. No matter what is going on at the office like you said Hoehn will treat you right. And if the the support staff start giving you any grief just tell them you aren't going to take it. Ofcourse that is big talk coming from me who prefers to avoid most confrontations. If the stress of worrying about the rest of the office is too much then definitely go to Malley. Don't put this off.

Cate - your job situation is in my thoughts as well. Here's to success at the agency tomorrow! Though I know it can be just as traumatic emotionally. Try not to stress too much about your binge. As Robyn said compared to the old pre-band days its hardly the same.

Turkey Pepperoni - is probably available by several brands but so far I've only found it by Hormel in loose pouches of pre-cut pepperoni. The phrase Turkey is green on the front of the package. There are only 80 Calories per 20 slices and 80% or more less fat than regular pepperoni. Sometimes I nuke them crunchy they are a great substitute for chips with or without dip. Sometimes I leave them un-nuked, put a little cheese on top 10 or so slices and just eat them cold for lunch.

Here's my day. Breakfast - Protein Drink - 20oz Isopure lunch - Deviled eggs - 4 dinner - Rice - 1 Heaping Tablespoon - chicken - approx 1/4 cup Snacks - M&M's - last handful - Pepperoni - 8 slices - graham cracker - half w/Peanut Butter - 1 Tablespoon Water - 24 oz (44 if you count the protein drink) Exercize - None (I know I know I can't expect the scale to keep moving if I don't get to moving myself.) Funny thing about the Shredded Chicken it was cooked by DH in skillet with Olive Oil and his "Secret" spices. My DH couldn't even boil Soup before surgery but has been forced to cook more and more over the year. Now he's even claiming rights to his own "Secret" spices. Priceless I tell you. Think he's getting tired of eating so much Cereal all those nights I either don't want to cook or don't cook enough.

Robyn - I am in awe. I can't imagine being able to do that each day much less even consider doing more excersize once I got home.
