Am I Too Filled????
I agree that liquids for a few days just may calm things down...but call them if you can't tolerate fluids. I would call anyway, because a small unfill will help you get over it faster...that is the beauty of the band, it is adjustable and you can get your fill back!!! Best wishes

Bean Soup
If you smoosh them in a blender aka puree into a thick liquid it would be OK and nutritious. Good luck!!!!

Weight Gain After Plastic Surgery
For sure you are not a failure. You are just hiting a real life bump in the road called maintenance. Yes, finding restriction is going to be a royal pain, but you will do it, in the meantime enjoy yourself and there surely can be no reason to not walk after 2 whole wks. Yes, I can speak from personal experience...it will work out all right, I promise. Mimi

I Got A Slight Unfill And I'm Still So Tight...
I have been thru this, too, and empathize with you. Personally I would leave things be unless things change....probably .1 or .15 would be a good adjustment, but those tiny amounts are almost impossible to to, Best wishes, Mimi

Should I Get Last Fill Removed?
I agree that as long as you can keep fluids down it is safe to wait a couple of weeks to see if things settle down. If at any time you start barfing go back and get a tiny unfill. I am like you...it hasn't been easy finding the green zone, sweet spot. Best wishes, Mimi

Oh Boy Oh Boy I Wish
This journey we are on is not for the weak!!!! Even after being banded for 3.5 years I still sometimes have the fat mentality. I have benn living through maintenance for a very long time and it is work!!!! I am getting a face/neck lift in the morning and the doctor told me he would do such and such "because I was THIN!!!" I looked at him and thought, "A handsome doctor (Plastic Surgeon) thinks I am thin?" HOLY MOLY what a rush!!!!! Take and use every non scale and scale victory to gradually re program your mind and by the time you get to maintenance you will be golden!!!!! Best wishes, Mimi

Getting You Head Around Smaller Sizes!

Flabby Arms... Exercising, Now What?
I have been working on getting the loose skin removed for 2 years and I have had my arms done and I don't even notice the scars any more and have no regrets. I have beautifully shaped arm muscles and love to show them off now that the batwings are gone. Next Monday my turkey neck and wattles go in the medical waste can and I am thrilled. I have nothing against age appropriate wrinkles etc, but were it not for losing all this wt I wouldn't have hanging skin, so I just laugh at ppl who are critical. Best wishes on your future endeavors. Mimi

My Band Has Slipped. I Am Devastated.
Mine slipped and I had to go through a second surgery...the worst part is the money spent. If the band has been your friend it will be good to get it fixed and keep your new figure. Best wishes. Mimi
