  1. I think you will be fine...you are being very hard on yourself. Go forward and do the best you can. It is a difficult time of year to be on a restrictive plan. Best wishes, Mimi
  2. Good luck, but I would start with your band doc......it kind of sounds like a slip or erosion....I hope not. I have been through that recently and almost lost my band. I am still unfilled and am gaining wt...already up 10 pounds. Best wishes, post after your doc visit. Mimi
  3. It is very possible that you sneezed or coughed wrong and don't even remember....or lifted something that didn't hurt at the time. It doesn't sound like the kind of problem an unfill would help with. I agree, it sounds like it muscular pain. If all else is fine, give it a couple of weeks to heal itself and if it doesn't improve call your doc's for an appt. Good luck and congratulations on your wt loss. Mimi
  4. Well, how are you doing? You have left us hanging!!! I am battling the ravenous hunger demon and have gained 10 pounds.....being unfilled completely is very hard, I am hoping you just got a small unfill and are still getting restriction. Mimi
  5. Me, too!! It is aggravating on top of all the other aggravations involved in the new and "improved" LBT. No wonder few of the old timers are visiting and posting. Mimi
  6. There is always Viactive chocolate or caramel soft chews. Mimi
  7. I agree that if you are going to continue to lose wt you should delay your surgery. I lost 20 pounds after having PS and wish I didn't have it so early. Especially the thighs are problematic because they are so heavy and bear your whole body wt with each step. Thighs are the biggest part of all the surgeries you are going to have done. After much research and talking to 3 PS I finally decided to live with my thighs (I am almost 60) and do without the pain and expense. I wish you much luck. The scars are significant but fade over time and the pain is manageable. Best wishes and let us know how you are doing. Mimi
  8. I am very happy for your excellent recovery. Best wishes, Mimi
  9. Nipper, did I mis-understand your question? What exactly did you mean by Atkins....the shakes or a low carb high protein way of eating? Mimi
  10. It tastes good, has appetite satisfying balance and is loaded with nutrition. I love the mocha latte the best but all the flavors are good. I am 2 years out and still drink them. Good luck, Mimi
  11. I am wondering if a seroma had built up and was punctured during the fill process? I have a softball size seroma over and next to my new port and hope to have it drained soon. Your picture is dramatic!!!!! Best wishes and please keep posting about this. Mimi
  12. Good post, Denise, I have read about that, too, and worry about every poster who says they are allowed to drain or get the port removed with no mention of having the stomach scoped. Mimi
  13. Amanda, it is not just you...loading all those advertisng graphics is what is slowing us down.. it infuriates me, too. Mimi
  14. I actually enjoy Whey Gourmet Cookies and Cream made with skim or 1% milk, but have also made it with water and it isn't bad at all. I recently tried their Chocolate Peanut Butter and that is tasty, too. I get it from Netrition off the Internet...they deliver very quickly. Mimi
  15. You have done so well, and indeed you look younger and happier!!! Best wishes for continued success!!! Mimi
  16. Give it a couple of days, as long as you can drink and are peeing you can wait. Some ppl say swellling takes 2 days to a week to settle. If you start barfing call for an unfill. Cut your pills up really small or crush them for a few days. Good luck, Mimi
  17. Best wishes on your journey...you have a wonderful beginning!! Mimi
  18. What is wrong with excedrine? Mimi
  19. Good luck with everything and I hope you get your band some day soon!!! Mimi
  20. Absolutely there are NOT different rules....If they keep insisting, change doctors. Mimi
  21. I never felt any kind of restriction til around 4.5cc so you might not feel any different....go slowly in eating in case it kicks in unexpectedly!!!! Mimi
  22. I am glad that you didn't wait any longer to get an adjustment and are feeling better. Mimi
  23. I find that hard to swallow, if it is true it is a very new requirement. Call Tricare in the morning and let us know. Mimi
  24. Amanda, I am glad you don't have a leak, but I am mystifed as to why you aren't getting restriction. Best wishes, Mimi
  25. Gosh, it sounds like you may have a leak...does he pull back and measure? I am sorry for what you are going through. Mimi
