should i get a fill
I think you should delay your fill for a few weeks and see if this breaks itself. It sounds like you are doing everything right. I am afraid if you get an adjustment now you may end up too tight. Let us know what you decide and how it turns out. Best wishes, Mimi

Needing a slight UNFILL BAD!! But scared to gain weight back!!
Claire, I am glad you are OK mentally with the unfill.....I had to laugh about your burger experience....you will be fine with your new level and gradually add to it after you are rested. Best wishes. Mimi

Exercise is messing me up....help
Try eating a harder protein like a hardboiled egg and cheese or meat, it will stick with you longer and give you the protein you need. It happens to me, too, probably because of what is referred to as the "after burn" effect where the metabolic fires are stimulatd by the exercise for a few hours after the work out. Good luck. Mimi

What is going on?
I think you are a tad overfilled and maybe even 0.25 cc/ml removal will be wonderful for you. Mushies can get very high calorie so I am glad you are going for a small unfill. Best wishes, Mimi

2nd Fill - Too Tight???
I am glad today is Monday and you have a couple of days to wait and see if it is temporary band/stomach swelling vs a tad overfilled. As long as you can keep fluids down you have some wiggle room. If it comes to the point where fluids are not staying down you need to call the office. It is a balancing act and if you wait too long and get too tight they may have to take out more so things can rest. It is better to go in and ask for a tiny unfill (like.15 or.2) or just discuss it and see what the doc recommends. Best wishes, Mimi

Plastic surgery date
Arms are a big issue for many of us. I had mine done Jan 4, 2010 and the scars are fading. I am having cold laser therapy on them to help them along, but they are not horrible. I am finally wearing short sleeve tops. I am not sorry I had it done. Thin scars are better than the batwings I had. Mimi

Weight Loss/Reflux due to fill
Fine tuning the band is very aggravating for some of us and living with reflux and heartburn is horrible. I lived that way for 4 months and finally got a very small unfill of 0.15 and in 2 days the reflux was almost gone and now 2 weeks later I am doing well with almost sweet spot restriction. I am on maintenance and am learning to balance my cals in and exercise out and w/o the band I would be sunk. I wish you the very best and hope after your next fill you will have your sweet spot. Congratulations on maintaining your 40 pound loss, that is nothing to sneeze at. I hope your care giver is capable of tiny unfills if you need it. Mimi

And while we are in there...
I have read many posts on LBT where posters have had their hiatal hernia's repaired during the surgery. Mimi

Feeling Frustrated...need support
Not to bum you, but you are in Bandster Hell. During which time I gained 12 pounds or more! Do the best you can eating properly and exercising until you achieve restriction. My practice used to be as strict as yours but now give more the 1st time and add to it more often than 6 wks because of so may unhappy patients who were gaining wt. Can you call your doc and beg to come in for another fill at 3 wks? I feel your pain and understand your frustration. Good luck, Mimi

Yay i made it to the 140's!!!!!!!!!
You are doing so well, congratulations!!!! Mimi

Need a slight unfill?
I think that a .5cc unfill would be wonderful...you sound a tad tight and a little reflux can turn into significant reflux. Been there, done that. Good luck. Mimi

Newly Band-less
I feel your pain......I have been suffering with severe reflux and burning stomach issues for 4 months. I battled my wt because it was easy to turn to slider food. I finally got a small unfill and that has relieved my reflux and most all my symptoms. I was so scared that I had erosion and was going to lose my band. I knew I would be back to 236 in a short time. I wish you the best and I am so sorry you lost your band. All you can do is diet and exercise and keep your portions small. Mimi

How many of you watch Biggest Loser??
I am sure it is the 21st of September as one poster wrote. I have noticed that not all commercials give the date. I am excited for it to begin. I did get hooked on season 2 of Dance Your A** Off and it was really well done, a huge improvement over season 1. Mimi

felling restricted yet not losing?
Please do not get a fill, yet. Being overfilled is miserable and does indeed lead to consuming high calorie slider food. And sometimes significant heartburn, reflux, and stomach burning feeling. Mimi
