  1. I am so sorry for not getting back to you. I don't seem to check nearly as often as I should. I'm doing good, down around 30 lbs, go back to the dr on Thurs for another fill. I haven't really noticed my relationships changing, but I have noticed that I am not so lazy. I have more energy and want to get up and do more things. I walk Monday thru Fridays during my lunch break, I can get a mile in in less than 25 minutes, I also walk at home sometimes, but not often. Weekends are kinda the days that I need to get stuff done around here, you know the same old stuff, laundry, cleaning, etc. I have heard that after surgery some people will sleep in a recliner, I didn't have that option, but it sounds like something to try if you can. Have you or when are you having your surgery. Let me know how things are going. Again, if I don't reply right away, I'm not ignoring you I haven't checked the visitor tab, I gotta remember to do that more often.

  2. Great! you've got a surgery date. I don't know why but I wasn't worried about the surgery itself. But when it came time for my first fill, everyone knew I was a bit rattled, even when the nurse called me in noticed that I was nervous. It all went very well. I didn't have a lot of pain after surgery, but did take the pain meds to help me sleep, getting in and out of bed was a chore. I only told my daughters, one of my brothers, and a couple of friends that I was having the surgery. My youngest didn't want me to do to it, but didn't protest too much. It has been about 3 months and I still haven't told anyone at work, they knew I was going in for surgery but not what it was exactly. I figure that it is not anyone's business. I went on a vacation to see out of state family, we went out to eat, I was then forced to tell my two sisters, they just had a lot of questions, guess there wasn't too much to say since I had already had the surgery. My advice is, if you know they are going to object or give you a hard time, is not to tell them. Good luck, and let me know how it is all going.
