Had a great time in Vegas. Made my fill appt for Wednesday at 12:45. Time to get serious and lose the remaining 50 lbs. I am motivated!!!

Great time in Vegas. Had some challenges getting home on Sunday. Got my luggage today. Tried to unload pics from camera and no luck so far. Will try again when my patience is better. I didn't have to logon to this board when I brought it up this time. I rebooted because I was loading software. Maybe you just have to do a few times for it to take. Made fill appt for Wednesday. Trip to Netherlands is later in July so going to get fill right now while I can. Wasn't mentally prepared for this week, but what the heck. Internet access was $5/for a few minutes in a open area with nothing but a ball mouse. Made for people to get boarding passess. We thought of all of you often.

Soon I would think they need to find the root cause of the high potassium. It's certainly not the slim fast. I would mention to the doctor though. From the link sent it could mean an auto immune issue. Betsy and I know all too well what that can do to your system. Off to Vegas. Dressed and heading for the airport. Thanks for the info on Potassium. Good information. The wedding pics are beautiful. Can't wait to see more. I love the dome, dome, on the range. It will be interesting to see this in person. The group pic was a little dark, but we did have fun. I use a wireless mouse and keyboard with my laptop. I like that better than struggling with the mouse indicator on the laptop. Thanks Heather for posting the pic. Hope all of you are enjoying the cruise.

I'm going casual gals and packing light. Don't forget to bring some pictures before and after for our, my project. DH put extra memory in my camera, a little teeny tripod so we can get pictures of all of us. Wouldn't catch me near a camera last year. :scalesno: Still no word from Lucymann. Reginia glad you had a great vacation. Don't worry so much about the eating. You will get back to normal once you can have a fill. Just try not to gain too much more or you will have to get out the old clothes. you've been through a lot this year so cut yourself some slack.

I know she was planning on Vegas as she paid for her Celine ticket. Having a great weekend. Met a few people from LBT that were in town to go on the cruise that was organized. I think there is 19 of them going on the cruise out of Galveston. I hope the weather gets better as we are having lots and lots of storms. Only 4 more days until Vegas. I can't wait. Bikergrammy we missed you at lunch. We waited for a while and then ordered. It was so much fun to see everyone. One had a tummy tuck and her arms done so we got some good information. It was a good time despite the looming rain storms. I've been eating everything in sight lately. I'm giving his a few more weeks then a fill for me. Since I'm going to Vegas on Thursday I'll wait until after that. Hope to see everyone Monday night for dinner.

Someone just the other day asked me about Jack. I said I hadn't been on much, but I was also wondering about Tired Old man. Then I thought that maybe they were suffering from burn out like me. After a year with the band, and 5 months of research before that, I limit my time on here. Now you've got me thinkin abot Wheetsin and Jack. Maybe they are the yin and yang of each other.

I'll stay with the Humble location for Tai Chi. I don't wear that uniform anymore so I'm liking it even better. Monday at 6:15 Humble Inn works for me. Hope everyone can make it.

Glad you are able to take advantage of the "free" classes. Just my luck you send me to one that costs! I signed up for 3 months so I'm out another 250. I'm enjoying them sorta of so I'll stick with it for the summer. Now that y'all are taking Tai Chi at 6:30 when are we getting together for dinner. I go to Tai Chi M,W until 6 and I guess y'all go at 6:30. Guess we should pick another night for dinner. Next week is our regular time to meet so let me know what we're doing. Today is my 1 year bandanniversary. I'm down 60 lbs, down from size 24 to 18/16. I feel so much better. Hopefully I can lose another 50 lbs next year. Glad you're doing better Betsy. Can your chiro get us a discount on plastic surgery? I need my arms done!

I was talking to my boss today. I was wearing my tight fitting dockers, nice blouse tucked in and a belt. My badge was hanging from my neck. He said during the conversation, You don't look like your badge anymore. It caught me off guard. I picked up my badge and said funny you should say that. Today is my one year anniversary from my lapband surgery. He didn't know that was the surgery I had last year. He told me whatever I was doing was working. It was such a nice way to end the day and my bandanniversary. It is also great for me that I'm able to share what I did. I haven't not told anyone except at the very beginning. Its amazing to me the stories that are shared once they know. Mine has been met with such positives. I don't think I could be a closet bandster. Good luck on the fill Poodles. take it easy and don't rush to solids. Give your stomach a chance to get used to the fill.

OK socalgirl I hope your fill goes well. I would hate that you had a bad time in Vegas. I didn't copy the info from her check. I guess I should have. Hopefully she is OK and we'll hear from her soon. Can't believe its been 1 year today! WOW.

Cindy all I can say is WOW! You look terrific. Socalgirl do you really want to get a fill just a few days before Vegas? Don't you want to eat and drink with us? Leecelove70 - happy anniversary to you as well. Next year will be ours and we will be at goal next June. Where oh where is Lucymann? I haven't heard from her and she's going to Vegas.

I have to get up early in the morning so won't have time to post on my anniversary. What a journey this has been. I am grateful for what I've lost. I look forward to the next year and another 50 lbs I hope. I've gone from size 24 to size 18 and sometimes 16. If the sleeves are loose I can wear an XL in a blouse, or a 1X if it has sleeves. I feel so much better. I am enjoying more. I am now exercising and taking Tai Chi. I love wearing sexier clothes. I am thankful for the many friends I've met on this journey. I couldn't have done it without you. Thanks for the support, the encouraging words, and the laughs. I look forward to the time when I can meet more of you in person, but cyberspace hasn't been so bad most of the time. All of us should be proud of taking this step, no matter what the results. We are taking control of our life and not letting food control us. Or at least most of the time. Thanks for a wonderful year.

I believe the next one is week from Monday. Can we make it at 6:15 so I can go to Tai Chi? Humble Inn or La Villa, either one works for me. I wanted to go to the opening of chocolate. How was it? The concept and the designs looked great in the paper. Dick thought it was too much temptation for me. He was right, but I still want to go. The lunch is Saturday at Pappisittos at 11:30 for those that want to meet up with the lapbanders that are going on the cruise. SallyJo is organizing it. You don't have to live in Huffman or anywhere to go to the May center. It is a free community center for all.

Congrats to everyone. I love hearing from some of you we haven't in a while and just love the pics. Keep them coming. I'm gratefull for what I've lost and hopefull that I can lose more. Its been an interesting journey. I'll post pics on the 13th. Have a great weekend everyone

Bikergrammy, I forgot to tell you that some of the gang going on the cruise are meeting for lunch next Saturday at Pappasittos in Humble. Sallyjo is one of them. I'm going and so is Pinkylee from our June group. Maybe you can join us. It should be fun to see some of the others on lapbandtalk. Let me know.
