NOT WORKING!
I hear ya, Lost 30 lbs and got stuck for 2 years myself. I changed Dr's and luckily, got a really good one who kicked my A** and told me "how" to eat. I listened. Its NOT easy, I'll admit and the junk food tends to go down smoother than the meats. I also got my last fill, I'm at a 10, which the Dr said she wouldn't fill me anymore. So now its make this thing work for me, OR BE FAT! Unlike you, my band is now so tight, I can barely eat anything before like 2pm. So that helps alot. I open the panty and say, why bother, I'll just throw up. I drink a lot of Protein shakes and eat the way I probably should've been over the last 2 years. If you need a friend to vent on, please don't hesitate to ask for help!!! I know how hard it is!

Dr. George Mueller - Dr. Mueller Rocks!
I just saw Dr Mueller for the 1st time yesterday and was very surprised w his staff. There are lap band clinics and there are lap band Dr's. Nurse Carol adjusted my band "properly" and I know I will see better results. I'm so thankful he took me in as a patient!!

water weight
YES! The same thing is happening to me! I got stuck at 18 lbs and my surgery was on Aug 18th. I exercise every single day and I'm just bouncing up and down 2-3 pounds. It's VERY frustrating! Sherri

I think the worst is over
Hey supermom- We're about the same age and had surgery on the same day! Cool. I still say childbirth was less painfull, the after effects anyway. I've lost 10lbs as of today! YAY! I see how some poeple put their goals on the posting, I haven't figured that out yet or figured out exactly how much I want to lose. I'm thinking 70 lbs or so. Keep in touch on your progress! Sherri

Post op port pain
Well I had mine on the 18th, a day before you and I tell ya, birth of my kids was easier. My stomach still hurts and it's all on the outside all the bumps and that port thing, my shirt rubbing on it hurts. I right there with ya. I'm not depressed though and you shouldn't be either. Hang in there, we can chat and compare notes if you want! Sherri sherrid5@aol.com

I remember waiting after the psyc clearance and waiting....it seemed as if I'd never get this surgery done. I don't know what BCBS is, your insurance? I am sure everything will run smoothly, hang in there. I've had my band on a whole 3 days and I was hungry yesterday. I had about a 1/4 cup of yougurt and I was actually full. And let me also just say that slim fast never tasted so good LOL I've lost 8 lbs since last Friday. Whoo hoo I'm on my way!

Hi there- I would like to know if you experienced gas in your stomach? I had my band on 2 days ago and my only pain really is the gas I feel after I try and drink/eat yogurt. If and when i can burp it out, I feel totally fine. Is this normal?
