Many of us can’t reach our Water or Protein goals the first several days. Just do your best and if you see signs of dehydration contact your team and they should be able to arrange for fluids as an outpatient. Try different flavors and different temperatures too. Some people can handle hot tea and such or room temp over cold. Also remember that all fluids count towards your goal for most programs. sugar free popsicles also help.

I got my date today... August 18th! I couldn't be more anxious or excited. I can't wait to feel more confident in myself and start winning the battle I've had with my weight for as long as I can remember. Jumping through all the hoops with my insurance was completely worth it! I look forward to connecting and chatting with you all

I just wanted to share... I have finally gotten my insurance to approve surgery after months of trying. At times, I really wanted to give up because each time I completed what they asked they would come up with something else that needed to be done. I am so pleased that they are now on board and I can get a surgery date! The coordinator at my doctors office should be calling me on Monday to schedule my date. 💪

I didn't tell work anything either... just told my boss I was going to take a couple days off. Luckily, I already work remotely so going back to work shouldn't be too bad.

Insurance always getting in the way has always been a tactic. Unfortunately it works, as a certain number of people will give up at each obstacle. Congratulations on being one of those to traverse the gauntlet.
Keep this same stick-to-itiveness in the gauntlet to come.
