  1. Sorry about the swearing, just trying to grad your attention. I was banded 3rd Sept, had 3 fills, I am up to 5cc in a 9cc band and no restriction. I am going for my 4th fill on Tues and was wondering if 1.5cc is to aggressive or even 2cc? I just want some restriction. I want to rip my hair out from frustration, I can eat anything I want at the moment!
  2. I was banded in India because of price and the doctor was a good one. Yes I'm happy with the band but I'm getting frustrated cause I have no restriction at the moment and have had three fills I am at 5mls in a 9ml band, I am going for my 4th fill on Tues and I hope that I get restriction.

  3. I am similar to Hartsdream, I have a realize band that holds 9cc. I was banded 3rd sept, had 3 fills, I have 5cc and no restriction. I'm getting my 4th fill on Tues and I hope to god I get restriction! I am starting to get really frustrated, I go away in 1 1/2 weeks for a month so if this on Tues doen't work i'll have to wait till Jan to get another fill. I can easily eat 2cups of food with no problem. HELP, HELP, HELP!!! I want to scream!!!
  4. I have met quite a few girls over the years that have had breast implants done in Thailand and they were all very happy with their results. As for Tummy tuck, male chest reduction, Thigh lift and buttock lift you really need to find a doctor with a lot of experience, so if you decide to get it done abroad,or at home research doctors and hospitals. There are great doctors everywhere, just do your research.

    Low Carb diet and the lap band

    Everyone is different I've only been banded since 3rd Sept but don't ever intend to make rice, bread or pasta part of my daily diet again but only cause I need to focus on eating enough fruit vegies and protein. Pre band i always ate a tone of vegies daily along with a tone of everything else and since being banded I haven't been eating that much vegies. I keep reading on hear protein, protein, protein and only eat 3 meals. Any way i've been ripping my hair out trying to figure out what to eat to lose cause like you I have been on a plateu, so I looked at what people are eating and was so shocked, the crap people eat, so not healthy. I would listen to Jachut. PS Jachut can you please post what your general daily diet is.

    I need advice

    Did you feel you needed a fill or did you just get one cause you thought you need to lose weight. If you think you need to lose weight you have to go easy on yourself you just had a baby. I would get an unfill and focus on eating fruit, vegies, dairy and animal protein so you and your baby, if your still breast feeding, keep in good health. I have no kids but I remember hearing somewhere it takes a year for your body to go back to normal after a baby.

    The Holidays are coming up!

    My family go out for lunch most years, but this year I said that it would be silly of me to come cause I won't be eating much and its $150 per person, luckily I never have to pay. Also my family celebrate it on the Gold Coast which is a three hour drive each way. My husbands family always have us over the day after Christmas which I think i'll get out of by saying I have organized to visit my family that day, I never like the spread they put on its always disgusting and most of the time they give you jelly, custard, tin fruit and cream for desert which I really hate, but their sweets after desert are to die for. If I could just skip to the sweets i'd go but they don't know i'm banded and never will. I am not going to buy any Christmas food because I know I will eat it and I figure everyone else will have Christmas food. I just adore Christmas food, fruit mince pies, stollen, ginger bread, christmas cake with marzapan & thick icing, plum pudding with brandy custard, Glühwein, i'm going to miss it going straight to my thighs this year. Oh well. I figure seeing as I am not a big fan of Christianity I shouldn't be doing the christmas thing anyway, but I do believe in Santa Clause and i've been an extremely good girl this year so I will be accepting all presents and cash.

    Feeling guilty

    Oh my god your doing amazingly. Maybe you are to hungry at meal times and need to eat in between. Try organizing healthy snacks in between meals like a piece of fruit or a low fat yoghurt and see if that helps. You don't have to be perfect.

    Can I Get A Gastric Balloon While Banded?

    As your still nursing I would focus on healthy food,lots of fresh organic stuff so that your baby can get a good start to life and your healthy. Fresh or frozen vegies, fresh or tin fruit, some kind of protein, organic everything if you can afford it. You have lost a lot of weight and had a baby. If I were you i'd be proud of myself. Remember to take time for yourself and do what makes you happy cause if your happy you kids will be!

    That REALLY full feeling..... :-(

    Eat less next time, but apart from that can you go for a walk. I've only felt really full I think twice since I was banded (3rd sept) and I had a nap both times which I definitely don't recommend cause when I awoke I still felt full and I think a long stroll would have made me feel a lot better, a lot sooner. Also don't drink any water for a while. Hope your feeling better soon.

    Side Pain

    I keep getting, like a stitch or runners cramp on my LEFT SIDE. Its really strange it comes and goes, some days its not there and other days I have to hold my side when I go for a walk with my dogs, i've had it since surgery and i've asked my doctor and they said everything seems fine. I also wish someone could give me some insight to what it could be. PS I was banded 3rd Sept

    Frist fill today, OUCH!!!

    ETHEL Some people have a fill after a month some 3 months everyones doctor is different and everyone is different so I guess it just depends on both of those factors. I was banded on 3rd sept and got my first fill 7 weeks post op. I've had 3 fills now all a week apart, had my 3rd fill yesterday. I still don't feel that restricted cause it is my husbands birthday and last night I had about half bottle red, a beef sausage with onion, salad with feta and olives and a small piece of mud cake and coffee. I know this is so bad especially only 8 hours after my 3rd fill, but I felt fine afterwards. I have a 9ml band and I have 5ml. I don't know if I answered any of your questions, sorry i'm just babbling. Any way good luck!

    Call the Doc .... or wait?

    Don't most docs say fluids for a few days and soft foods for a few days? Anyway I would definitely call the doctor, better to be safe than sorry. Let us know what happens and how your doing.

    fat and tired

    I think your half way there cause your aware your eating habits aren't great and your trying to do something about it. One helpful hint is think Fresh Food, vegies, fruit, lean meat, chicken, seafood, eat every 3-4 hours, plan what your going to eat for the week, keep a food diary. See a dietition, once you've keep a food diary for a month take it to a dietition and then they will be able to help. I don't think you have to cut out take away and junk food, just have it occasionally. This will be easier once your banded, especially since your taking steps now to eat healthier.     I HEAR YA!!!! I know exactly how you feel! I have the same size band as you, I have 5ml total now. Surgery 3rd Sept 1st fill 2ml 2 weeks ago, last week 2ml and today 1ml and no restriction!! GRRRRRR
