Ah it'l come to u but remember we have no restriction after the op cos we have no fill its just swelling but i know i drank as much as i liked but try not to drink stuff very high in cals... lol lol lol yeah fred is nice hes nice in his casual clothes so is dr chris lol there was actually another fine thing in the operating theatre haha

Honestly naomi ur over the worst of it today but for maybe the next wk u will be tired and still have that tightness and discomfort but everyday u will get better my swelling took about 2wks to go down thought it would never go.... but on day 4or5 i was back to sleeping on my belly i done it in my sleep without noticing but trust me every day u will feel better... God angie sounds like she done well the day after op i looked desperate lol but i think that was due to me being so nauseous after the anestetic but so good to hear from u

Hey naomi so glad to hear ur home and everything went well... Yeah the pain ur on about is normal i had awful tightness in my chest it lasted a little over a week but u sound to be the same as me in what u describe.... I was drinking juice and sugar free dilutable orange and stuff but trust me the first 3days are the worst and then everything starts to get better... Did u meet angie?

Hi englishrose yeah i know what u mean bout slowing down i think that has started already im still taking in bout 500cals a day but still im thrilled i have set myself a goal of 4stone by xmas so 2stone 2.5lbs still to go but im sure its acheviable gona start to do some exercise im sure it'l help cos my body wont know what hit it cos i aint used to exercise at all... oh and hi chrissy yeah im thrilled with weight loss so far just hope it continues but god im determined an im gona work my ass off to get rid of this weight cos its the one thing that will make me happy and give me my confidence back i cant wait...

Hi englishrose glad to hear ur fill went ok how do u find ur restriction now? Umm i hate thoughts of this damm fill im a baby when it comes to needles but it well be well worth it... As for weight loss first wk i was down 12lbs 2nd wk 8lbs and just got weighed this morn for my 3rd wk and have 5.5 lbs off so 25.5 lb so far and il be banded 3wks tomorro so im happy but just disappointed if i just had 2.5lbmore off i would be 2stone down but i hope to hit that target next week... everyone is doin so well its great whole new life for all of us its so exciting

Hey everyone looking for a little advice (posted this in another thread to) so here go's my story i just got bloods done this morn to check if i have pcos and my horemones checked cos i have some hair on my chin which is horrible but other than that im not overly hairly and my cycle is regular as clockwork every month does this sound like it could be pcos i really am praying it isnt but if not what could cause my hair growth any info would be so much appreciated

Hey naomi ah you'l do just great wont be a bother on ya as for pre op dont worry bout it i didnt stick to it either an the day before op in belgium i had a ice cream and the bacon cheeseburger in restaurant that eve oh and half a moro before bed with a cuppa lol he said they dont worry too much bout it when we are so young but let me know how u are Thinkin bout ya havnt stoped thinkin bout angie all morn id say she has it over her by now cant wait to hear from her

Hi katie I had to wait about 4wks for my op u email dr chris urself tell him how soon u want op and he'l give u closest date possible his email addy is chris.debruyne@advalvas.be and u know cost of op is €4000 well that is package including taxis and hotel saves a lot of hassle if u need anymore info feel free to ask

Hey i stayed in campanile its great also if ya fancy havin ur last supper the bacon cheeseburger is yum yum lol my mum and friend came u will leave for hospital at 6.45am but honestly no need to be worrying i did and had no need to taxi to hospital is about €8 so not too bad for whoever is going with u i was banded 12days ago once u get over day 1,2 and 3 u will feel great im so glad i had it done if an help anyone or u want to ask anything pm me as i forget to check posts but good luck to all of u its well worth it im down a stone and 6lb since op

Yeah thank god we have the height we can carry the weight... I have pics on bebo if ur on it??? Yeah i just cant wait to have the confidence back when i lose the weight i have 0 confidence at the mo and its getting worse being 24 i want to be able to wear what everyone else wears and enjoy myself

Ah god that was a lot of hard work i was 22stone now 20st 12lb i want to get down to 14stone im 6ft so i should be trim enough at14stone... Yeah i hope the band helps too it better lol i cant wait to get back to glasgow i love it

Well last week i was on thin liquids like juice an cuppa soups water etc and have to say i wasnt one bit hungry since yesterday im on thicker liquids like full soups yoghurt still grand i usually only get about 300cals in a day 500 max and i aint hungry or weak im so happy long may it last in total i have 1stone 2lbs off since being banded i was 12lbs down on thurs i got mixed up haha have u much to lose? I must say the day of surgery and day after i felt like sh*t excuse my language but was much better by day3 and im fine since other than a big bruised belly no partying for me for a while haha

Ah thats great ur getting banded then you'l have a month and a half to get down a bit before xmas... I was banded last fri4th sept and have lost 12lbs this wk so im thrilled hope to get 4stone off by xmas...

Hi ah thats great u got the package... What date u getting banded??? Yeah you pay through ur bank i had to fill in a form in the bank with frederiks company name and address and his bank name and address also 2 different codes/account number of his bank (not sure if banks in scotland require so much info) so its a €400 deposit and has to be in frederiks account 2wks before ur surgery it really does save so much hassle... Just ask frederik to send u all of his bank and company info

yeah be great to hear how u get on u should receive a email within a day from him and also if u wanted surgery earlier u should say u want a date as soon as possibe an usually can have it within 4to6wks if u wanted i just didnt have the patience to wait haha

frederik.serneels@ecfs.be he deals with organising the packages as he is dr chris's management he's brilliant u just have to pay €400 deposit so he can pay for hotel and stuff and pay the €3600 when u get to belgium its great

Hey i didnt really stick to a pre op bold girl that i am but on plane over i had ham an cheese panini an tea i had a ice cream durin the day and a bacon cheeseburger and fries that nite in hotel lol but frederik said cos im young they wernt too worried bout my pre op they would be more concerned with older clients or very heavy drinkers frederik visited me in hotel that eve to collect the money and have a chat i stayed in campanile hotel in vivoorde most of the patients stay ther its 5mins from hospital and airport a taxi to hospital costs €8 so its cheap DONT stay in central brussels cos a taxi wil cost€50 i went with a package from frederik €4000 for op hotel for 2 people and taxis to and from airport,hotel and hospital so it was great having everything organised for u... as for the day u leave hospital dr chris will see u to discharge u and frederik will come to hotel that evening and check on u its great u should ask dr chris could frederik contact u if the package would be available to u cos it saves so much hassle all u have to worry ur flight oh make sure u are flying into brussels international airport the other airprt in brussels is too far out taxi could cost€150 think thats all haha but ask anything u want to

Hi naomi No no protein shakes just water cuppa soups and juices like ribena and stuff its great no one bit hungry so im happy but yeah defo take baggy bottoms even if u just buy one pair of cheap ones in primark a few sizes bigger than u are it'l be worth it for the comfort coming home i have a lovely black belly at the mo lol but doing well didnt enjoy the first 2days but well worth it... As for pre op i couldnt stick to it at all but frederik said cos im so young it was ok i didnt stick to it they are more concerned with much older peoples liver and people who drink in extreme so dont be too hard on urself oh and if ur staying campanile i recomend the bacon cheeseburger and fries yumyum nice spicy sauce on it lol i had it nite before very nice haha

Ah thanks englishrose im great today dont know myself... I was trying to get my ticker going and near smashed my laptop in frustration lol keeps coming up invalid file i tried following ur instructions u gave angie but still dont know wat code to copy to get it right so i have gave up haha too frustrating for me
