I’m excited for the phone call tomorrow to let me know what time I need to be at the hospital Friday. My doctor said I’m first in the list so I should be having my surgery around 7:30am.
Yes! I can TOTALLY RELATE I am definitely anticipating that phone call and yes the hunger is so real, I've asked my family not to talk about food, I just make the food and leave😆

Cleveland yay! I definitely slipped up the day I was supposed to start! It's been ok, I've been distracting myself, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I feel miserable adjusting, it's times like this that I realize that food was such a crutch, and this procedure is definitely the tool that will help me.
How are you feeling?? So excited for us!

I see everyone is talking about packing their bag. I didn’t think I would need one considering I’m supposed to be out the next day. Can someone check in and let me know how you’re feeling and diet after surgery.
Surgery Twin!!! Finally! I have the same date for Surgery you are not alone🤗

So I’ve had zero nausea or vomiting- so far. Pain has been very tolerable after the first 4-5 hrs from surgery. So far I’ve managed to drink Water, apple juice and chicken broth without issue. Not much has pain . Feeling very fortunate and looking forward to going home.
Wow!! Congrats!! Thank you for the insight, I'll be making those requests if I don't get that in 2 weeks!!

Hope everything went well!Hi All,
Currently, my surgery is scheduled for May 3rd. I was wondering if there were any other people on a similar timeline who I could buddy up with for support and discussion. It will be covered by the insurance IF the results of my sleeping test were negative. I find that out on Thursday. Then the surgery is a go ahead for the 3rd. I am anxious about both.

I've been taking Miralax and within a couple of days I've been passing, it's a temporary solution but I think once we're on solids we'll be good. I heard of the 3 week stall, and Ive also heard that its normal and isn't something we should worry about. Stay strong!
