  1. I know it’s late and perhaps you found out but depending on the state, you are required so many months seeing a doctor, dietitian and getting all your pre-screen approvals. (Like from cardio, psych, etc) Usually it’s between 3-6 months seeing them. Then you get the surgery. You also have to reach certain requirements or have 1 or more comorbidity such as high blood pressure, diabetes, etc.

  2. Thank you everyone. I’m not in any way trying to keep anything from him. They have access to all my labs, including any future labs I get and each appointment they ask and I’m always honest. It just recently hit me that these results could set me back or have some impact on my outcome. He already knows about my PCOS and we are going ahead with surgery and these labs being done coincide with my PCOS so I was just curious and overthinking as I do. Thanks again. 😉

Do you mean pre op or post op?

I meant pre-op. I’m still in the beginning phase. I haven’t gotten my surgery date yet.

Update on this…I did see my surgeon today. Although I was worried, he wasn’t upset. I did manage to lose 1.8 pounds. Mother Nature did come this week and I was bloated. Also, I have been losing more than he asked the previous months so we are just going to shake it off this month and move forward through this stall. Thanks everyone.
