I'm fairly new myself. How are you feeling today? When are your surgery dates? I'm April 12th
-
No, like toning the muscles

I've tried them and I like the lemonade, apple and what ever the blue one is. They are pricey but I bought 7 so I can have one every day of my liquid diet. The mango, fruit punch and grape were really gross to me. I hope this helps.

Searching for a PS in San Francisco, CA
sugarbee24 posted a topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Hi all, I'm looking for reliable recommendations for a plastic surgeon near the San Francisco Bay Area in California. I want to start comparing costs so I know about how much I will need for a tummy tuck, thigh lift and a breast lift. Thanks in advance -

I like premier but I hate the chocolate flavor, it is so gross, the strawberries and cream and vanilla are the least sweet tasting and the caramel, chocolate peanut butter, banana, cookies & cream, birthday cake and chocolate mint are very sweet tasting. I hope this helps -

You are a beautiful woman! The only change will be that you will have smaller packaging. I think we all need a sign or a button that says "If you don't have anything supportive to say shut the hell up" what do you guys think? -
Do a Google search for bariatric meal plans and that will give you a good idea of what to aim for. There are tons of videos on YouTube that you can watch that show what people eat in a day. This should help you get the general idea of what to eat and avoid. Stay away from fats, sugars and simple carbs like white rice and pasta. Best of luck to you!

i would like to hear feedback
sugarbee24 replied to thinblueline's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I think a lot of us here feel the shame and take the blame for our weight issues. In part yes we have all made bad food choices but weight gain and our bad relationship with food are for various reasons. During this process, you will speak with a psychologist or therapist and they can help you better understand your relationship with food and how to make it better. You are taking steps to improve your health and life. Look forward to what will be and dwell on was has been. Best of luck -

No bypass, I will be sleeved. Though my doc did recommend the bypass at first. I have a few other health issues I'm dealing with so in the end sleeve was the safer option for me. -

I haven't had my surgery yet. It is scheduled for April 12th but this site and the people here are so great. There is so much information here! I thought I had done a ton of research but hearing about real people and things they have encountered both good and bad has been very helpful for me. Good luck to all May surgeries [emoji171]

Thank you to everyone who has shared! I can not wait to be one of you. I am so looking forward to having many of these come true for me. Great job everyone -
I haven't had surgery yet but something I have seen on a lot of forums is freezing your protein water and making Popsicles with it. There is also something called liquicel its a 1 oz pouch of pure protein gel and you can take it straight or mix it with water. There are larger packages too. They are on Amazon.

Yay! Do you want to be surgery buddies? Since we are similar in our goals, I think it would be helpful and it would be nice to have someone who starts at the same time. -
