I think it’s normal as well due to low calories and fluids. Rest your body is going through a lot. Do your best to stay hydrated and call your doctor to just to be safe. Hope you feel better soon.

Everything is going okay. I miss chewing though🥺 getting in my Water is a struggle. I can only drink warm lemon water. I’m up to 5 cups. I hate all my Protein Shakes now. I found I can take Fairlife 1% plus GENEPRO unflavored Protein Powder with only a little issue. I’m happy overall though. How are you doing?

I am located in the Czech Republic and things are a little different here. I will be given IV fluids only the first couple of days. No oral intake until two days after surgery. I read how everyone wakes up so thirsty and with a sore or dry throat from being intubated. Was it bearable if you weren’t going to be allowed to drink anything? I mean, I’m doing it either way and hopefully the team at my hospital will have some suggestions for me, but I’m not excited to go through such an annoying feeling with no ability to help it. LOL
Hi I’m 4 days post op. Yes, you are thirsty and dry. The iv helps with thirst. I used some dry mouth mouthwash to swish and a spray that I didn’t swallow. My throat did hurt so I did gargle with Water a lot right after surgery but I made sure not to swallow anything. Hth good luck with your surgery and congratulations!

I think after day 3. My stomach is like too much liquid when it comes time for Water. I hope you feel better soon.

Yes please do! I have thought about opening the capsules and putting it a spoon with a little Protein Shake. I don’t know if that will be work for my stomach.

Can any of you recommend a plant based Protein shake/powder that works well for you? I have been using the Premier Protein products and the Ready Water products.
Thanks,
Alecia B.
Hi owyn plant based Protein Shake is pretty good. I only tried chocolate. It’s on the sweeter side so I can’t really rock with it. I’m stuck with Isopure Protein Powder for now it’s not punch in your face sweet. It’s whey Protein though.

Yes I tried them and I hate them already. I was looking to see if maybe I could get a good liquid one. I will miss my capsules🙁 let me know if you find anything good.

Thank you for the reassurance!! What’s the hardest part for you right now?

Hi all! This is my first post in here. My sleeve date is Jan 18 as well. Just ending my first day of pre op diet and I can’t believe I made it. I’m terrified of the next 13 days.
