wow you look great and happy, your wonderful smile says it all. It makes life so good to feel well and buy nice clothes. I had my band done in UK and have had no support from anyone here as in the UK it is frowned upon to have any obsiety operations. I have lost 8 stone 112 in 11 months and have another 14lbs till i reach target. Please look at my pictures and see how different I feel and the smile we both share in the after photos -

BLimey what a differnce I think you look so happy now and I am so pelased that you feel better. It is amazing that loosing weight can make such a difference to us and allow us to enjoy life so much more -
Hello to everyone My name is Dianne and I have joined tonight the forum, I had my band done August 2007 and have found the journey hard and rewarding. :seeya: I have now lost over 8 stone in 11 months with the band and am nearing my target weight. Since having the band fitted I have found a new man and I am getting married in Janaury 2009. I am disabled with chronic asthma and work as volunteer with disabled adults making cards and craft work. I really feel so lucky to be working with adults and children and making people feel like that can do things they have never tried. I also make cards and sell them for charity, I am trying to raise £1000 this year for hte charity which is Tubersous Sclerosis. I would like to make new friends and chat. Thank you for lettting me join and look forward to hearing from people.

No not yet I am waiting for that to happen I am wearing support wear to help me hold it all in.... I have seen the dr about having the skin removed but it will be a long job and I cant afford it.

PHotos taken from 2007 and the night before I was banded. They are the ones I like now of me 8 stone less a dream come true. There is a life out there for me after all. All that is left is my new wedding pictures which will be on in January 2009
