On your name at the top right there is a arrow. Click on that, Click on Surgery information and there you can add all your surgery info, weight ect...

Ask your doctor if those medications can maybe be crushed and added to a drink. (Not all medication can be crushed so make sure to ask first before doing it) Also make sure you fill out your sidebar information so we have a little more info on you (surgery type, date, weight, ect...) it helps a ton when answering questions.

You are doing great. Not everyone looses a ton of weight quickly. Some are slower than others, some are faster. and remember you will hit stalls along the way where you wont loose much or any weight at all for a couple weeks or so. Just stick to the program and you will do great. This is a long process.

i havent had surgery yet. but for me lower left pain turned out to be diverticulosis (pouches that formed in your sigmoid colon) a CT scan with contrast can confirm that.

ive seen people on here get pregnant just a few weeks after surgery. If you use the search bar and type in pregnant you can probably find those post and speak with those that did get pregnant.

Hi. We could use a little more information. Maybe like how long is your preop diet and how long you been on it? It varies so greatly and what kind of diet... Some are on liquid diet only and some can eat low calorie foods. Also fill out your sidebar. it helps a ton

My Bariatric center has a monthly support group via zoom and they have a facebook group too. I dont participate in them. Only 1 session was required as part of the pre op stuff. The one i attended on zoom was like 75 people in it... The nutritionist the one who host the zoom meeting.

This website here has a store section and has a sweets section that is suppose to be good for weight loss people. Typically high in protein and sugar free... They have stuff like chocolates, chips and other snacks. Check it out and see if you like it

Ive seen several people post on youtube that after weightloss surgery the affects were different. Some that it was much stronger and that they regretted taking it, Others say it helped with the nausea.

My doctor said when i have my surgery to help with hair loss is to make sure i get that protein in with every single meal that it would help a bit but hairloss happens to most but not all. Its temporary and will come back

LOL yea youtube has sooooo many great videos. So many people post their weight loss surgery journey on there from pre op, even the surgery and right after the surgery and so on. Very fun to watch the differences between each person.

There are several videos on this subject on youtube of people explaining their personal hair loss issues with weight loss surgery. I have seen some that it thins and others that lost decent chunks but it all grows back. Kinda dreading that too when i have my surgery lol. I hate hats. lol

WOw thats insane. I didnt think that 315lb would limit me for any type of scan... I mean most people in my country are overweight... you would think that these machines should be able to handle heavier people.

So i got a automated phone call to call the hospital so they can review my insurance and see what my cost will be for the stress test... I do that. They said all my appointments were cancelled. I was like uhhhh no one called me to tell me... after back and forth its because apparently there is a weight limit for the Gamma camera table of 250lb and i weigh 315lb. I mean i got weighed at the cardiologist office yesterday and it was in my paperwork... So now they rescheduled me at another hospital. So annoying they cancelled without even calling or anything.

oh man lol. But yea the testing center is like 20 feet away from the cardiac office that has several doctors and next door is the actual Emergency room so i feel good about that.

you are doing great. Everyone looses weight differently. and everyone goes thru stalls or multiple stalls. Just stick to the program.
