On Jan 3rd I had my sleeve and so happy that everything was good. Less pain than I thought but take into account that every person is different. Now, already at home, starting my first week diet post op.
Good luck everyone!

So do I. On my way to the hospital but snowing heavy in Virginia. I just hope all the medical team can make it to the hospital to avoid delays/cancellations

That depends a lot on each person, overweight...I think it's better not to get obessed with the weight loss and focus on following your surgery plan. I f you do that I'm sure that you'll succeed 👍

Today I almost had a heart attack, they called me to delay the operation but it was only about the time not the day.

It seems there are two threads about January surgery, that´s what I wrote:
My surgery (Jan 3rd) it´s still moving on but I´ll do my pre-op appointment online instead of in-person, so the things are changing too here in Virginia and I´m worried that I the end they can call my surgery off.
Cross fingers!

I am actually going to start my full liquid diet January 1,22. I figure why wait 4 days. I’m just going to do it. I am trying out different shakes, yogurts, and puddings now. I am very texture oriented. So this will be interesting.
For those who work… how much time are you planning on taking off for recovery?
I'm planning to come back to work 1 week post-op (office job) but it'll depend on my recovery.

Thank you for the answer I´m starting my process with them and on Jan 3rd I´ll have the sleeve.
After 3 years, Have you been able to maintain your weight lost? It´s one of my main fears.
Thank you
