    I am a patient of Dr Haag too..kind of stopped losing:phanvan got banded May 12 only have lost 30 pounds:eek:

    Had 2 fills first was 1cc and then 1/2 cc.I think I need anyother fill ..:cry .

    This is a great site people here become like a Lapband Family...

    I am starting my excercise to the ymca on sat been a real bad girl have NOT excercise at all only walking up the stairs:cry

    But I can tell you 30 pounds off my body feels so good:clap2:

    Good for you congrat on taking a major step to a healthier you.

    Is your Dr Dr Haag?if he is he is wonderful I had my lapband done on May 12 and so far have lost almost 29 pounds I feel wonderful.

    The surgery was great and I was back to work in2 weeks some people go in earlier it depends...you will see the change in yourself everything around u changes..

    Good luck and keep in touch with your progress...

    Hi,

    Has anyone had lap band at Mercy?? I am getting scared because I do not see ANYONE who has had surgery there, only one person who looked into it and got "spooked" I am scheduled for consultation with Dr. Kasper June 28th, should I run away????

    It's true Tommygirl I have not seen anyone on this site that has been to Mercy look into it further if you have this spooky feeling:cry

    Myself I had it done by a great surgeon Dr,Haag and Baystate Medical Center is the best in caring for patients..that is the only place I ever go to and believe when I tell you I worked there for 23 yrs and those nurses and doctors ae the best around...

    So go by what you are feeling..keep us posted and good luck..

    This is the best thing I have ever done for myself..almost 30 pound less and feel like a million bucks..:faint: :)

    Hi All !, I have lost 130 pounds and now have the blood pressure of a young girl. Unfortunatly I also have the body of a 100 years old woman ! I'm recovering from a Tummy Tuck and go to see if my stitches can come out tomorrow. Somtimes i think that i resemble one of those shai- pei dogs that never grow into their skins !

    Hope you don't mind if I am in your group even if I am 57 1/2 does it count?:biggrin1: 1-10-1949 is my birthday..

    So Eleebana tell me how painfull was the tummy tuck?

    I am almost 1 month post-op from my lapband have lost 26 pounds to date;) ... I do not snore anymore..:kiss :guess

    First of all, I am really glad that the soreness has gone away. I was banded on May 10, and I just went back to work last Thursday. It took almost that long for me to be able to wear a bra because of the pain I had under my right breast from the muscle being sore. I have been doing well with eating, I haven’t had any problems with eating anything, as a matter of fact, I don’t even eat until I’m full because I don’t want to “PB” and I get tired of chewing! :) I will admit that I didn’t think I was ready to go out and eat in public. I attended a graduation two weeks ago, and of course when we Celebrate anything we Celebrate with food, so the decided to go out and eat Chinese food. I had already turned down a lunch date with a friend a couple of days before, so I wasn’t sure if I was going to go. Well I went after all, when we got to the restaurant I just ordered my food to go and ate from the container. Just as I expected there were a million and one questions, but I had no problem answering them. I just don’t want to have to explain myself all the time. This had proven to be an interesting experience and my roommate keeps saying “and you knew all this before you did it”. I never said it would be easy…but I’m willing to see it through!:nervous

    Myself there is an office picnic today will not attend I am drain out from people talking about food and asking so many freaking questions over and over again:heh: ...I wish to ask you and the board do u crush your pills ??..been crushing my advil for elbow pain test like hell:speechles

    Will get my first fill on June 19th 38 days after my lapband..:clap2:

    Hi

    everyone hope your all doing well. I go for my first fill on the 1st July which will be 7wks post op. My scars are healing well but, I cant seem to feel where my port is. I know it is meant to be under the longest scar but when I lay flat I can not feel it, there doesn't seem to be any hardness under the skin which I would of thought I would of felt or at least there would of been a slight difference from the rest. Am I meant to be able to feel it?

    It's so weird I don't feel my port anymore either I go for my fill on June 19th 38 days post op not really even 6 weeks..starting to feel hungry at night lately:cry ..Deb how much have you lost?..I am so glad I had this done my world is changing as we speak..

    Hello, my name is Jaclyn and I'm nineteen years old from Colorado. I got the lap-band surgery done almost two years ago and I've lost 300 pounds so far!

    We are all almost at the end of our birth month and it seems all has work well with the May 2006 Band Crew...

    Now you first week people need to start checking in with some statistics and reporting of your situations...

    Damn, I am so happy I started this thread has it seems to be a good place for our Crew to report , share, explain and the most important part to me is the SUPPORT!!!

    Me, because I'm awesome.

    It matters not that I didn't enter the challenge, I should just be awarded victory on the grounds of well... its ME.

    (sorry, I think the idea of returning to work tomorrow has pushed me over the edge into a puddle of dribbling insanity, normal service will resume shortly).

    :faint: Sorry for reporting late with my progress,my surgery when great just was sore and a little pain near my port even last night May 27th had to take some meds...I report to Dr.Haag on June 19th...I think I am down a dress size felt weird when I put on my pants yesterday they were so lose all over my hip,waist,butt all smaller:scared: all I want to do is wear a J-Lo jeans size 13 which my daughter is welling to buy for me:) my size now must be like 22 imagine never thought I would of seen 238 again on my scale..cannot believe it like the weight is melting off my body(thank you Jesus)...

    To all the people on this May site wish everyone good luck with your:clap2: surgery..

    To Wiggpiggy and Missyfan we were all band on the same day thank you for your encourgagement and for being there and a special thanx to sweet "Seminole being the sweetheart you are:kiss2: ..

    I am so happy for you will be in the other side 3 days before me:)

    I am working until the day before my surgery so most likely will be tired and my son is coming from LongIsland for support for his sister and of course Mother's Day is that weekend:sleep So my children will be pampering me for sure :clap2: :( hope I am better by that sunday to attend church with them.:angel: :grouphug:

    So have a good plane ride to our state of Massaschusetts:plane:
