  1. Hi, can I get a little guidance please? I had a gastric bypass 6 months ago. I've lost 4 stone so far. I've recently got back from a holiday (where I lost 6lbs) but since I got back its all gone a bit odd (see pic of weekly weigh in).
I don't know if this is all normal or if I'm doing something wrong? Am I panicking over nothing?
I've got some epic toilet issues (chronic diarrhoea) that Ive got a referral to gastroenterology for so there is that factor. I am also not overly concerned about Protein goals, as directed by my nutritionist as my stomach is struggling with everything at the mo. I have low potassium and am due to start vit B12 injections tomorrow.
The first weight on the pic is on return from holiday, I fully expected a small gain when I returned as I went back to my normal food and it wasn't as hot.
    I don't know if I should:
    A) eat less (I have 3 meals a day, rarely snacks)
    B) exercise more
    C) do both of the above
    D) stop panicking and wait for my body to catch itself up?
Hopefully someone can ease my worries. I'm UK based. Thank you in advance 😊

  2. I am a week post op. Since surgery I have had such a gross taste in my mouth. I thought it was taking orally dissolvable medication. Then I tight it was the lack of food variety? I have been brushing my teeth, flossing, using a tongue scraper (my tongue has been very coated). It isn't oral thrush, I've checked. My breath is rank. Is this normal? Will it improve? Please tell me it will as my food intake returns to normal 🙏

  3. Hi all, I'm new. I'm from the UK. I'm trying to decide between a sleeve and a bypass. I think a bypass may be a better fit but I'm scared about getting urgent diarrhea and whether more foods are off limits with a bypass?

I think it's probably about the same for either but the bypass is a bit more scary because ts more invasive.

I know everyone is different and what happens to one person might not happen to another but I'm just trying to get a gauage. I know you have to learn your foods and if you try something new you would do it at home ......I suppose I'm looking for reassurance ..,and honesty lol 😅
